any one grow with pond water?

havent tried it but im sure it works great...tons of biological matter and free of additives from tap water= good shit

I guess it's supposed to be an organic way to add nutes. It's something I would really like to look into next year... as well as getting a pool. Lol

I would never have thougjt to use pond water. What if one was to use pond water in aeroponics? Hmm....

For the past two years I've used water from a pond for my plants and it works fine. It even get a little stagnant towards the end of the summer and haven't had any problems. Wish it was a little closer to my patch though, but hey, can't have it all I guess...

I have grown a plant on the edge of a pond that had a constant ebb and flow of green algae scum on the top. I called it the Swamplurk. It had the pissiest smell with earthy undertones. Took about 20-30 minutes before it made you forget you were sitting down. Lower branch sucked. It got some funky shit on it and I water cured it and it still sucked. Be careful, swamps are dangerous!
