I can only agree to an extent. I hate the DRIVERS. There is nothing wrong with 40+ mpg though. I drove a little integra daily and pulled 4( mpg most the time. Ricers are like annoying and rude dogs, there is always a slight "genetic" pre-determination but for the most part they're a reflection of owner. And all that aside with some money (more than its worth imo) they can be just as bad ass if not faster. Power/weight ratios are a mo-fo. and these just can't be denied.

skyline and supra arrrrrrrrre waaaay different those cars are fast and no1 knows why like they were just well built cars. but the point is wasting money on a car thats not meant to race. ford focus. honda civics. god damn toyota corrolas come on thats so not worth it.

are you even watching the right car?? The white ford focus thats already turning the corner back down pit row when that other car runs a 14.6 at 89 mph is me, the white car. As stated I am dialed in at 12.0 flat, "DIALED IN" since you people either have no idea how a drag race works or can't read. Here is the same motor as me, every mod the same on some un "dialed" passes with a Wizard of Nitrous System.

i've got a 2007 Chevorlet RWD (2wheeldrive) 4door CrewCab. That, I'll race just about anyone around my town with. Unless your running NOS... which to me is cheating. I only race people with straight motor boltons and such.. No NOS!!!
My truck has the following. A Voliant Cold air induction system with matching filter; 6.0 bigblock with single 'Whipple' supercharger; and 22" rims/tires on it. The rims need more torque to get them spinning.. more torque than a smaller rim would need for sure. But I had it tested at my local 'Dyno performance' store..
and my results were around 503HP and 587lbs of torque. Things a fucking beast.. but its a fucking gas hog.. and right now its hurting my pockets. Especially with the price of gas these days.. plus I have to run the 91octane or better... otherwise it will start pinging and shit.
But, my mechanic told me he could reprogram everything to where I only need to run reg. 87 pump gas.
I'm sure someone on here has something that could outrun my truck... but then again.. who knows right? Right..
Might be able to beat me at top speed.. because my truck shuts off at 125mph. (soon to be removed..)
But where I would put my money.. would be a torque contest.
Let me put a heavy ass chain to the back of your bumper, then attach it to my rear receiver hitch ball... and let's see who can pull
the other.. in the opposite direction.
I'd win. Trust me on that one..

Every car has a purpose. Rice burners aren't made for highway runs, long races, or hell even off the line races. But when you want a quick little shit care that can get you in and out and thru and to somewhere fast, that's what you need. There's no American, German, or Italian engineering that can drift anywhere close to comparably with rice burners! However when you want to talk quality of a car, real stamina, or real power... Then you need to start looking at those German and Italian made babies

I'm a fan of SC's, my mustang has a kenne bell. See if SCT has a "programmer" for your truck. It'll fix your speed regulator issue as well as being able to switch to a 87 octane program. And yes, you would have me in the torque on any of my foci. I own several. One of which was the fastest four cyl Ford, according to FoMoCo in 2008. only makes 408 torque after dyno calibrations are adjusted.
And NOS is a brand name, N2O is not. Nitrous is only cheating if you hide it, my car is clearly labeled "N2O 12.0" whether on the street or track. And I have other ways of letting people know, lol, I purge more than I shoot ANY day of the week!

I own 6 Ford's, two are pictured in my grow journal. One of which is a mustang, clearly marked 12.0 n2o on the top left, front window. I have been bracket racing for about ten years. Yup, I'm old and shit. Every car has a purpose, as well do as evry crow bar. I carry two in my car, one for me and the tire and one for the other guy. I am photophobic meaning bright lights hurt my eyes. I love nothing more than smashing illegally installed HID's on lifted trucks. In my current state there are a lot of them.
What I'm saying is, to each his own. I can't condone someone "cutting off" cars they don't find visually appealing. people often underestimate me because I have a handicapped plate. Like to drive like shit around me and cut me off and what not. The most precious part is when I get out at the light, not only can I walk I'm 6'5" and a lean 225 lbs holding a 3 ft breaker bar like a pencil in my giant dick beaters. Game on hope you don't have the wife and kids with ya cause their gonna wanna turn away now.
