Nooooooooooooo!! You only use ice to reduce swelling by reducing the blood flow. Heat is used to increase blood flow and increase circulation. The more blood flow, the faster you heal. It takes muscles a very, very long time to heal. I've screwed myself out of a gym membership twice by overdoing it.Yeah but if I have a tear I don't want it to tear anymore so I want to keep the vessels frozen so they compress right?
