You can do them when ever you want to but I like to do it after about the 3 set, Try to take pics with the lights off and you won't get the Purple look, Just to let you know Looking good keep up the good work Adam

I suggest FIM'ing over topping. But that's just my opinion.

I would say Yes Fim its ok too, but I think its the same thing as topping but you only take half the node and say Fuck I missed, and it also gives a double instead of a single. Good Luck Good advise Zara

I always top at the 3rd node after it has grown 5. I top it 2 more times for 8 colas.

Thanks bear420!!! this is my very first grow and am not too sure how to got about the trimming of the plant. I have been using the fim technique since about a week after I got the clones from a friend(2-3 weeks ago) but wouldn't topping help the lower branches catch up to the height of the higher branches that are receiving more light?? Just trying to make them as perfect and fatty as can be
