i have same babies in a grow closet using cfls and wanted to switch them to florescent light bulbs. any suggestions on color of bulb and wattage???

6500k for veg, 2700k for flower. How many plants do you have?

Fluorescent tubes? T5's are gonna be about your best bet. Those setups are kind of expensive though. The more wattage the better and I usually mix spectrums but you'll probably want some 6500k (bluish) for vegging and some 3000k (reddish) for flowering.
