Do you mind where i ask where you got your kit from? Uk is a pain lol
Have a chat with @freemanjack he'll build you a great cob rig for roughly £1/Watt. You could buy just the QB's - without the rest of the kit - and incorporate that into a rig. I think Jack is your man. Nice guy and knows his stuff.

Gimme a coupla days but if you insist on citizen, its looking to be a 20-30 quid premium over vero's and I can see fuckall advantage in the specs, they might manage a few single digit percentage points maximum efficiency but at over twice the price per cob. Back of the fag packet guestimation would be around 130 quid(ish), If you know any reputable suppliers not wanting your first born child in payment for each cob, give us a link and i'll take a gander.

Any extra small efficiency in lights can be lost in the rest of the groom set up I think. You only get the benefit of a small increase in efficiency if the medium, genetics, nutes and growing skills are all more or less perfect.....imo :)

Im trying my best but everything sells out instantly lol.

@Jay7t5 130 quid is a good price id take that.
Just to be clear I wasn't meaning you when I mentioned rip-off merchants mate.....I meant the companies that use marketing BS to sell shit at high prices.....
I'm thinking of having 2-3 cobs with a board in the middle......I'll keep an eye on the board availability.

Worth mentioning here, saw some chat 'bout ebay citizen suppliers, 5 x 1212's for 50 quid looked reasonable, till I found a bunch of listings for the same units on alibaba for $2 each, seeing as digikey is asking over 20 quid a cob, I'd be very suspicious of the ebay/ali listings.

I think it's common for alibaba merchants to list their prices very low, and then when you actually email for a price it's usually much higher. Could be that their low prices are for high volume orders.

Hey mate thanks for getting back to me with a price i will get back to you on that as i have already ordered 2 plug and play citizens From kingbrite now damn lol, I bought them after seeing growmau5 DIY panel and all the components were off kingsbrite so I have a bit of confidence knowing that growmau5 used them and his grow journal was impressive, I am looking to use LED in my veg room next so I will look you up when I get the money to do it next month, I think the eBay guy's are asking way to much and was quoted £375 for 100w of citizen!! and he wanted 12 postage lol And another guy quoted me £280 on eBay too, there's a huge Gap in the market here for DIY kits but uk growers have limited choice and have to look at timber rapid or growmau5 pay custom and delivery which is a pisser,

I asked one of them this question, they literally told me its not even price, just to lure you in.

Check out the seller 'export-estonia' on eBay if your thinking of building from scratch, they have cheap Citi cob LEDs.
I'm in UK and recently bought some led boards/drivers from them. Delivery was quick, just over a week and they're happy to answer any questions too which is helpful.

Got mine from export estonia too, great price and delivery takes about week, literally just finished building today and swapped out my mars hydro.

I got 5x led boards and drivers for £39 delivered. So I'm going to use 3 to supplement my Meizhi 600w for flowering (I know Meizhi is a cheap blurple, but it's been great so far). I'll be using the other two boards for a small seedling\clone\veg area.

I did see them, he only had 4000k in stock at the time, see how these cobs turn out before look at more lights.

There are UK citizen distributers such as primelight who can supply all citizen chips and heatsinks for very good prices. Still not found a supplier for meanwell drivers that can beat Kingbrite prices even after tax and delivery though.

I got the 3000k boards only ones available, for the price I thought it was great though.
I'll definitely be investing in some citi COBs in the future, I want to retrofit my viparspecta UFO.
