any use for cracked corn

i have a ton of cracked corn is there any use for it?i found a spot saying i can use it for shrooms how about soaking it in water and covering the top of my soil to help keep it from drying out so fast?

I would take it to the petting zoo. Or you can test it out on 1 plant and see what happens. Best of luck and welcome to RIU.

no no wait boys, give him a chance. i like the way you think johnny. you could probably use it as a good mulch yes. alo im sure there are nutrirnts in it, if i can remember i thikn potassium in particular. look up the npk ratio or try to find a recipe for a organic fertilizer that uses it.

thanks i do feed it to the animals but i really have tons i'd like to find more uses for it.i know it can be burned for heat but i'm not going to buy a pellet stove

yeah the only way to get that stuff gone is to feed it to your cattle, have a distillery down by the watering hole. set up deer stands out of 50 gal drums and thats about it

i saw some where a guy had a still in his grow room because the fermenting gives off co2 is that true? is there a way to do it easier just for the free co2?
