Anybody have any experience dealing with Alphakronik Genes Seeds?

I ordered a 10 pack of Alphakronik Genes Eisbaer. None of the seeds in this pack germinated.

I have had relatively good success getting seeds to germinate both before and after attempting to germinate these Eisbaer seeds.

I was recently visiting their website and I noticed that they have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee - No questions asked.

I sent them an email to let them know about my problems with their seeds but I have not gotten any response from them yet.

If anybody has any experience dealing with Alphakronik Genes Seeds, either positive or negative, please post here to let me know what my chances are of getting new seed from them.

Thanks

your link has been deleted for whatever was in it...alpha is on this site feel free to see what he wil do for ya but i would have done that before putting it on blast personally...honestly man ten beans not germing is either totally your fault or somewhere in between the breeder and you they were stored improperly..think about it, ten beans dropped in a cup of water that you walk away from could have a great germ rate, so ten not working at once is not very likely to be bad beans...also remember when addressing these things you have to be careful what words you use, most companies will not return an email that states you tried to germinate the beans

i had the same exact issue with a pack of their bubba loves.. zero of the 10 germed, not a damn one.. i also traded away my pack of white diamods, with the warning i had germ issues.. dude took them anyhoo's, and he later got back to me with the news that he had the same issue..
i know a few other people on here who had similar problems.. a bunch of us contacted jay from alpha, and he said he was going to send out replacements.. after about 2 months of not hearing anything, i contacted him and was a bit of an asshole, if i do say so myself..
needless to say, i never got my replacements, but i do know a few other people did..

Thank you for your reply. My post is not a blast, I was just curious if anybody had any knowledge on this.

I have, since posting this morning, been contacted by Alphakronik and believe that they are going to replace my seeds. This is great news and shows that this seed company does care about the satisfaction of their customers.

As far as the reason for the seed failure, I have no idea why they did not pop. They were stored for a few months in an airtight container in a cool, dark drawer. The two freebies that I got in the same order from Attitude also failed to pop. I have not had this type of failure either before or since. I do not believe that it had anything to do with my storage of the beans. I do believe that maybe Attitude sent me some old beans that could have possibly died even before they were shipped to me.

I did get an email back from Jay. He said that he would be "happy to send you replacements ASAP!" and "we love to make customers happy." So I am looking forward to getting these replacement beans.

Also want to let you know that I love your avatar. I just recently read The Shining again before it's sequel Doctor Sleep arrived. I love Steven King's books.

That would put your jackpot seed being shipped about the same time as my Eisbaer, October 2012.

i love the shining as well, plus i'm an old skateboarder from way back.. when i was a teen, a popular brand of boards were called powell peralta, and one the bottom of one of their boards, was this dude called the ripper.. it was hugely popular, t shirts, stickers, etc etc.
a year or so ago, they thought it would be cool to get a few artists together to all do their own take on the ripper.. some of them were kinda weak imo, but this, my avatar, was one that i really liked, so i stole it, lol.. :D

here's the og ripper logo that was huge when i was a kid, so you can see what they did with it.. :D

I am kinda worried about ordering so many seeds for long term storage. I'm trying to limit my growing to my oldest seeds first.

ya i do that as well, try to use oldest stock first but sometimes i cant help but order too many or have to skip a pack because i need fem instead of reg or whatever so the jackpots have been sitting a while..doesnt help that i have a propensity to like collecting cool little items lol and i cant constantly grow so until i make some room in the bean tin ordering is off limits! i have heard from many sources though that your germ rates shouldnt start to dwindle until about 4-5 years if kept properly..i personally have popped a package that was about 3 years old and got 6 out of ten to germ so i think my oldest stock is still ok for a yearish before i really need to worry but who knows

I too have decided not to order anymore until I have used a bunch of mine. However, I can't seem to stop going to Attitudes site every day to see if they have any new promotions going. And for some reason I'm looking at their November promotion in seven more days.

Soak them now.

Report your germ rate(s) in intervals of two days. Report on this thread.

Do it.

I have eyeballed a few of homeboys strains but never pulled the plug based on reports. I am sure he holds some dank but........... best wishes and keep us posted on crackin' those beans.

I had the same thing a while back with Jay. I germed 10 Snowdawg BX and only one popped. I attributed it to old improperly stored beans.
After a couple e-mails Jay responded and I received a generous freebie pack as well.
All the replacement beans and the freebies popped. 100% germ rate.
I am six weeks in flower on the single Snowdawg BX and I have 5 Rawdawg up two weeks in veg. (Rawdawg is Snowdawg BX x 707 Headband)
The Snowdawg is a turpentine, fuel smell. I read there were three phenos. I seem to have the frosty fuel one. This is supposed to be some very strong smoke, so I am hopeful.
I topped and LST'd a little to create four main branches. It is a tall, slender plant with nice spacing and good light penetration from the sparse canopy. The buds are tall and slim, and are starting to do the final swell and foxtail a bit. It has large broad leaves below, and slender sativa type bud formation and leaves above.
If this plant finishes the way it appears to be headed, It is going to be fire!
The replacements from Jay did take a while, but I received them after around 6 weeks.
Since I live in Co. and I didn't receive the replacements from an overseas bank, they were fresh and great.

I believe that is a contributing factor to many failures as well. The storage and shipment of ceeds.
I'll post pics today.

I have often wondered if x-ray or some other scan at customs can damage the beans.
Also I'm not sure sitting in my black mailbox on the street in the summer and riding in the mail truck when it is 100 degrees outside is great for them either.
Must be 125 degrees in that metal coffin waiting for me to get home.
All I know is every time I receive ceeds domestically, they have excellent germ rates, but overseas is a crap shoot.

Here it is. The one single ceed that popped from my first Alphakronik order.
It smells awesome!
I have it in Sunshine #4 and feed it Jack's Classic bloom booster. It is six weeks in.
The genetics are Snowdawg x (Snowdawg x Space Queen)
