I know Spliff Seeds sell white widow which is a brazilian sativa+south indian indica mix, just like the original white widow.
It really looks like the original white widow too and the ones closest to the lights are literally covered in trichombs.
im smoking it now and its been a long time since i smoked something this strong thats not a haze strain, and this is a quickdried week early harvested bud.
It smells very sour and kinda weird, to be honest i really dont even like the smell, the taste is better tho.

anyone know if this could be an original white widow?
Peace

A guy called Ingemar is the original breeder of White Widow. He reportedly gave a female clone and a male plant to Paradise seeds in the mid 90's. Paradise seeds claims they are still using those plants to produce the ORIGINAL White Whidow. There are many, many companies that sell WW seeds, b some are better than others. If you want the original that was around back in the mid 90's , paradise still has them.

some info here
http://www.seedsman.com/en/origins-of-white-widow/

The White Widow strain was first released to the public by Shantibaba, shortly after he founded the Green House Seed Company in 1994 with a Dutch partner named Arjan. The pedigree of this famous sativa/indica hybrid is made up of a pure Brazilian sativa mother and a South Indian, Keralan hybrid father. The exact origins of the mother plant remains somewhat of a mystery but the most educated guess is that it could possibly be the old school, Brazilian landrace Manga Rosa,*

Shantibaba on the other hand has been quite open about the origin of this wonderful plant. He also seems very familiar with both the Widow and its parents. Going by the line of reasoning that I have chosen here, one thing seems to remain undisputable, and that is that Shantibaba is in possession of the only true parents of the White Widow strain now in existence. This would make sense if he also discovered the strain.
