Anybody know about aloe vera and roses?

oh and should that aloe come inside i remember as a kid mom had tons of these and never really gave them any care at all. they were nice too. if i bring it in i have no place to put it so it gets light. thanks for all your help guys.

i have a bandanna peel but no epsom salt. and is there no way to clone it whatever?
It's a matter of potassium and magnesium. The epsom salts supply the magnesium.
The easiest way to clone a rose is to air layer it. Take some spagnum moss,
Scrape away the top layer of the stem, paint it with rooting hormone, wrap it in wet moss, wrap it in plastic to keep it wet Check it often until it starts to root. Then cut it and plant it.
This method works best in the heat of summer and can take a long time, but, it works because the cutting is being fed by the mother plant while it strikes roots. Woody plants are slow to root.
The aloe, I have found that direct sunlight tends to turn them brown. They only need water when the "leaves" look thin. About once a month. Aloe stores water in it's leaves, it's a succulent.
You can try taking cuttings of the aloe and set them in Cactus soil, they may strike. I've done it with other succulents.
Good luck!

thanks for your help i may try that with the rose i had no idea it would take so long i thought it would be like a day or a week not like a month. the aloe i will move out of direct sunlight

I bought this little aloe vera plant from walmart 4 or so years ago, and look what it turned into. It's a monster mother plant. It flowered for me last summer, and i was very amazed, for i have never seen an aloe flower.

The other smaller pot are also two plants that came from the larger mother plant. I think i need some kind of barrell!? I can't plant it in the ground, because my backyard floods.

PROOF that SUPERTHRIVE works!

have you just kept them by the window or like outside i mean i know these things take no care to survive but i want it to be able to grow big spent 5 buck to never have to again

They stay outside, and now they stay in my greenhouse. But They were brought inside because of the cold weather.

i must say that one is a monster plant. i'll just give mine good care if i can get it to give me a few more plants i will be good. or if it gets nice and big one or the other...

I just seperated the big one, boy what a mess of roots. 18 individual plants came out of the big pot + the other two in the other pot, so that is 20. Don't worry it will produce more, haha!
