Anybody use Crop king?

Not their autos but they don't call them Crap King for nothing.

:peace:
I have tried 5 different auto-fem strains from Crap King (Dwarf Low Flyer, Early Miss, Revolver, Candy Cane and Jack Herer).... and each one has had issues, but some had very good results.

Crap King is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get

Let's not forget that Crop King is NOT a breeder but a rather just a retailer with slick marketing skills ....much like a snake oil salesman

My guess is they buy up the cheapest seeds they can find, then market them with a trendy name and flashy packaging

The names of seeds are not copyrighted, as such they can buy a ton of Mexican ditch weed seeds and call them whatever they want

I had a Crap King auto-fem that was a male, another that hermied, several others that needed 12-12 to flower (other words not auto's), very poor germination rate and some that produced very mediocre pot.

On the other hand, I've grow some really good ones.....but I would not recommend them as a reputable retailer

I was told you couldn't grow plants from the light from a TV but you did pretty good. ;)

I think ISK said it pretty well, Crap king is a crap shoot. I've seen some great journals of their stuff, but also tons of issues. As others have mentioned Mephisto does great auto's but they aren't the only ones that can do an auto right. Dinafem, DutchPassion, Fast buds are right up there in terms of quality. I'm sure there is more, those ones just come to mind first.

Adding in Sweet Seeds and i think these are the top 5 BREEDERS, not just companies pollen chucking S1/F1 autos for newbies.

I like that slogan...Crap King is a crap shoot

That said, I just started my summer indoor sunshine grow with Crop King auto-fems.

I germinated my last 5 Crap King seeds (Revolver, Early Miss, Candy Cane and 2 Dwarf Low Flyer) ...the Candy Cane did not germinate, and the others took 4 days but are doing well.

Time will tell if I get decent or crappy plants, but this will be the last time I'll grow Crop King seeds

cheers

I ran Fast Buds Skittlez and Six Shooter. Nice plants.

Skittlez was sweet and I the six shooter is a nice yielder and terpy. I may run one outside with some Mephisto Forum Stomper this summer.

I also like Sweet Seeds autos. Their Killer Kush, Green Poison XL and Cream Mandarine grew excellent. I like their coloured line too... Bloody Skunk and Red Mandarine (Fast F1).

I run crop king a long long time ago. White widow xl auto. Was ok. Can’t say much, I was pretty new at the whole thing. I was happy with the smoke being it was essentially free.

Crop Kings has become the Amazon of Cannabis Seeds. They buy from whomever / they market the crap out of their company ( not the breeder) and we get sucked up into the vortex. I bought 10 seeds from CK. Not one germinated. ( Be sure to spell out your germination techniques when you call / one slip up from their method and you are screwed) A Nice CK lady sent me 10 new seeds. And after following their methods, I am the proud owner of 2 seeds that have made it to soil, but are miserable in looks. And its not just the fact that they have crap, its the waste of our time in rolling the dice. 6 weeks in and I may have 2 plants that will take another 8 plus weeks to mature. Can anyone recommend someone?? Love autoflowers and hear good things about Mephisto Genetics. I am in Canada and hear they may have a location here? Cheers to All

My first autos were crop king I had reasonable success enough for autos to get my attention.
Switched to dinafem last year and there is no looking back for me. Almost every seed I have germinated has been viable from seedling to mature plant it’s like 2% failure rate.
