anyone else get a call from slater center today?

no phone call here and i went there in person today.then again ive never sold them any meds either
Well new guy is from cali and he runs procurement dept. In one of biggest dispensaries there supposedly. He seemed like cool person but i told him how they were giving next to nothing for meds an ALOT of people upset about it and he told me "well thats why im here now" so maybe they ran out of options and now trying to get back in touch with people.

Im going to sit with him an see whats up... told him flat out people not giving meds to them that cheap an he responded with " well thats why im here now" hes more experienced i guess and said hes will to pay more if meds are up to par and moving off the shelf.
my assumption is, they have few strands on shelf and repeated strands from same CH who been giving them meds. They running out of options cause patients want variety .

I was told that they are getting ready to harvest their in house crop in August. Honestly I've been going there for a few months now and I have not found a strain that was impressive. I have never needed more than a hit or 2 of really good meds to be good but I burn through Slater's meds fast.

Hey guys yea the new guy running procurement is a good dude from Cali. I know that there trying to get better medicine and he knows they need to pay more. Hopefully soon. As for their own, I highly doubt they'll be set with their own harvest in August.

Harvest isnt till september but the prices have already begun to come up. Remember, aside from the base price, they offer processing and pick up service too, no more trimming!!
Payment is still either net 15 or net 30 depending on what the transaction is.
They are always looking for stock but there are at least a dozen growers helping them out and a few them are top notch so if you're not liking ANY of the stuff coming out, you probably never will. There is a diesel coming up that Doyle ran, he's probably one of the better growers around, give that one a try.

A friend just took in a bunch of nice, properly-purged BHO to Slater. They offered $15/g, and would be selling it to 3x to 4x that...

I cant stand that plac3. no wonder meds suck. what kind of bud is a patient gonna sell em for 125 a zip? and offering 15 a g for oil wen they sell it for 60. thats a 400% markup for what? a fuking sticker with a name? their gonna survive only from rich kids trying to get high. im with you Wavegem. LBH i understand the ppl may be cool but they dont care about providing patients with medicine. they care about paying bills and selling drugs to customers so they can have a fat salary. there the worst middle man ever and i would never let them mark up my medicine 300% to make money off a kid or god forbid a sick patient who cant afford to grow. lets get some real change and allow CG and patients to sell to any other cardholder and declare it on taxes. then supply and demand could set pricing not some monopoly screwing over growers and consumers.

dont worry too many ppl would be pissed especially caus3 mass has a 10 oz limit for cardholders.... fuck their bullshit. no one can tell me i cant grow a plant that im growing for medicine for cancer.

Y'all are hating on something that isnt even established yet. Wait till their grows are online (few weeks) and you're going to see a different program. This is how its been since they opened but everyone keeps slamming them before giving them a chance. I'm there a lot, the patients are signing up every day and with the free massage, reiki, chiro, psych stuff, it's serving a lot of people who didnt have that kind of a resource before. As for the level of meds, there are some decent growers taking the hit in the name of compassion. I couldnt afford to at that price but there are those out there who are and I don't see any good reason to slam them, kinda the opposite, I applaud them. Now it's slaters turn to hold up to what theyve been saying the future would look like.

Do you work for the compassion center? How can u keep telling everyone that the dispenserys are trying their hardest? i applaud patients trying to help others out and offer low price meds. And if they do so you would assume the center wouldnt jack up the price 300% thats ripping the hell out of patients i dont care how many free massages you give them. I want to know what their salarys are? so much for non profit. how can overhead be so much? THEY OFFERED 15 A G FOR OIL and SELL IT FOR 60! thats an outrage. Ive waited a few weeks over and over again already. Ill give them 3 months and if they dont offer better prices by then i wont have to protest against them they will fail and patients will now and forever find better deals on the black market. prices for patients by the way will never go down for patients. i talked nick from 11th state about it and he told me the reason why prices were high is because the state doesnt want people to buy it from the dispenseries and re sell it. Patients and caregivers all the way.

also my best friends mom who has had cancer for a decade now went to the portsmouth center looking to see if she could get material such as fan leaves for juicing and they said no. she asked if they were working on any high cbd strains and they said no. she asked if they had any information on high cbd strains or clones and again the answer was no. and prices were 360 per ounce plus tax and 58 a g for oil. thats higher then the lowest level street dealer. all caregivers and growers i know wouldnt charge near that and the highest they said was 250! no thankyou im all set.
