Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds to me like you're telling people how easy it was to live in the time in which they themselves lived. It also sounds like you're saying that only the younger people of today now know about the opportunities available in the 50s and early 60s. That's some flawed logic.I completely disagree with this. America was at it's peak, imo, during the 1950's and early 1960's, right after WW2, when nobody else was around to compete.
Opportunity was literally everywhere. And that's the thing that most people, most older people these days just can't seem to realize.
Life was easier for people in those days, it is going to be harder for someone today to stabilize their financial and economic future in a more hostile financial and economic environment.
Also pleeeeaaasssseeee don't try speak for our entire generation when you claim that "it is going to be harder for someone today to stabilize their financial and economic future in a more hostile financial and economic environment.".
It might be hard for the slackers but if you are willing to tough it out in these "hostile" economic environments ...it's easy to have a stable financial situation AND future.
Gimme a break with this "poor us" nonsense.
