I can not remember the last time Ive had anything from a microwave, I even put my Hot pockets in the toaster oven.
For some reason food tastes rubbery to me in a microwave.

I did think about getting one though...I am a pastaholic. You like yours, eh?
oh yeah! its real convenient because u dont have to sit and watch the spaghetti boil. just throw it in the microwave and go do whatever until its done. i have a timer that i take with me in my room, so i know when its done. and the spaghetti doesnt taste any different than cooking it regularly. ive also cooked potatoes with the steamer with great success haha. they have a booklet with tons of recipes and ways to cook stuff

edit: the one drawback is the shape. its kind of hard to wash

So how come it doesn't stick together? In a pot, if I don't keep it moving for the first couple min I get a pasta brick. Must be the boiling action, I'm assuming?

i have no idea why it doesnt stick honestly. when its done, the spaghetti is all tangled as if u did stir it. so maybe the bubble thing is true

Drop pasta into boiling water and do not boil the water with the pasta in it already. Add oil to the water and make sure to agitate the pasta as it cooks (stir). Finally when the pasta is drained toss it into a bowl with some butter or oil to prevent it from sticking while it dries.
