Anyone ever grown Mazar OUTDOORS?

So I have grown Reeferman's Mazar-i-Shariff (aka Lemon Kush) indoor a few times now. By the last cycle, I had gotten it close to full flavor & yield was good @ 3-4 oz per plant

This is my first time, however, growing it outdoors and I am trying to get a feel for what I should expect yield wise. Below I will list some of the grow/enviornmental factors, and anyone with experience growing Reeferman's line, especially Mazar, your comments will be much appreciated! Feel free to ask questions about anything I don't list below...

-Reeferman's Mazar-i-Shariff purchased thru BcBudDepot.com
-Started from seed Feb 26
-Sexed & cloned by April 15
-Transplanted 9 clones and 1 large mother into a professional grade GH w/ 6mm polycarb (60% UV protection) on June 1
-Additionally have a huge, bushy White Widow and a beautiful StarTrek (Stargazer x Trainwreck) to complete my 12 mature medical plant limit for 2 cards
-100% organically fed, nutrient list below
-GH is South facing & gets clear sun ALL day
-Rows setup as a 3x4 with even spacing ... Center row gets most light at all times of day, making them giant 7 footers with 2 weeks left of veg to go, and my side ones approaching 6 ft
-I've topped them all at one point or another. Tried various topping methods to see what works best.
-Expecting them to finish between 8-10 ft

Look at how lush & healthy my plants are and try telling me high quality organics don't make a difference!

I definitely agree with you but honestly there products are still bull shit, not in the sense they don't perform well, but the fact that they are able to be sold at such a price. Literally it's not possible to be as technical with shit as they claim there is, especially with organics. Bat guano, seabird guano, earthworm castings, fish meal, and kelp. That's usually what you get in organics, maybe a couple more or less, but in general you will find the same exact thing in every other product and for HALF the price. The process by which they are made is basically the same thing, they add a bunch of water to these guano's after they've been filtered and maybe a little concentrated. I can see why you're happy with using those products, but you could be saving a ton of money in the end. Botanicare pure blend is like $16 a quart dollars and wouldn't be surprised if you got the same results as iguana which is like $36

Valid point Gr33nCrack ... I was planning on trying more of Roots Organics & Humbolt Nutrients products my next time around, as I've noticed they are a bit cheaper and have heard of great success with them

Do keep in mind pricewise tho that I'm not just walking into my local hydro store and paying top dollar for all of these nutes. I never pay retail. This whole combination of products cost me just over $500 thru eBay suppliers, whereas I've heard of other growers load up on Advanced from their local shop and pay over $700 for LESS

eBay is def the way to go when planning ahead for your next grow. I don't mind supporting my local shop for a liter or two of something simple if I need it right away, but that's about it.

Thx bro! The white widow is starting to show me some small flowers at some of the upper nodes. When it fills in a bit more I will start posting some bud porn and keep updating this as a kind of grow journal, so stay tuned! =)

Much appreciated! This year def took some investing, but I decided I wanted to really step it up to pro level, and ended up getting this 'Backyard Pro'. Stainless steel prefab structure with the 60% UV protected polycarb panels (which are great for summer days, as it will prevent light stress & burns). I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to purchase in the $5-6k range! Although if I was a handy man I'd have more pride in building my own!

hey, sorry i cant help much on guessing the yield, but could you answer me a quick questiona bout the greenhouse...
ive been temped to try making one and giving it a shot, do you find theyre effective?
my curiosity lies in the sunlight, does bud quality decrease i wondered because of light having to go through the greenhouse? instead of them recieving direct sunlight?
just a though, much appreciated thanks bro

The sun is much more intense than any 1000 watt HPS or any other artificial light out there. At times, it can actually be TOO much light, which is why I mentioned the importance of 60% UV protected polycarb panels. As long as you are not in a shaded area and have it aligned North/South, you should receive plenty of light at all times of day to give you healthy, lush plants. As for quality, Greenhouse is supposed to be king of the crop toppling both raw outdoor and controlled indoor. This is my first year with this setup tho, so only time will tell. The reasoning behind this, is that the greenhouse allows you to create a similar controlled enviornment, the same way you would in a indoor grow room, but now you have the best light source out there hitting your plants at all angles. Light is a big factor for yield & potency. If you try to grow under a 60 watt bulb, you will stretch and get very little yield with hardly any potency. Step it up to a 400 watt HPS and you'll see better results. 1000 watt HPS, even better. Grow under the sun, and well... lets just say you will have a great light source with very low electricity bills! This greenhouse enviorment allows you to care more for your plants than open outdoor, keeping them protected from harsh weather, away from rain & unfiltered water with impurities, deer & other animals that can destroy crops, less insect problems (which I eliminate completely by spraying down with EcoSmarts Organic insecticide weekly to bi-weekly), protects from light stress & burns, ... and much more

As for whether it works for me or not ... I posted some pics of how they look as of 2 days ago, so ... YOU TELL ME! =)

Roots Organics out of Oregon are the shit! I use Botanicare flowering as my base, and use HP2, HPK (awesome product), Extreme serene (a little for kelp), and Trinity (for the complex carbs and molasses for flavor). I grow medically, I grow Ice, Blueberry Widow, White Widow, and Crystal. All have loved these nutes. Oh, and do not forget the Cal/Mag. Gotta have that once a week or so.

AGREED! I laughed so hard when I started using the OregonISM XL, because here I went from an EXTREMELY pricey AN Voodoo Juice that only has about 6 main beneficial bacterias and then some Vitamin B-1. I get the OregonISM XL and it's $25 cheaper, contains 16 beneficial bacterias & trichoderma, AND kelp, yucca, alfalfa, & humic acid. And I'm actually in Oregon, so I enjoy the fact that I'm supporting a local business in the community. I think I'm going to create a feeding schedule that will implement some of Botanicare's organic line (Organicare) along with the ROOTS.

Question about the HPK product ... Do you use that for the entire flower phase? Or do you wait until week 4 or so and begin a PK spike for bigger flower development?

Nice on your strains, too. I have White Widow going, Ice & Crystal have always been some great strains, and the Blueberry Widow sound like a great indica hybrid! I will look for some of your pics.

Wanted to post some pic updates for everyone today, but it looks like fall is officially here. Lots of clouds, wind, & rain the past couple days. I'll get some pics up next time the suns out!

Fuckin neighbors thought it'd be a great idea to tear down part of their fence, which just so happens to be the part connected to my backyard. So now I apparently am facing the biggest security threat I've had all year, as I'm really sketched about the workers who now prob have a good idea what's in the yard right next to them.

I decided to toss a 20' x 30' blue tarp over the top and have most angles covered. It's very stormy, so it's really not taking away light from them at the moment. Neighbor has the posts for the new fence in, so I'm hoping they can knock this out quick. I was also thinking that because the side exposed to the neighbor is Northwest to my greenhouse alignment, I really could just MYLAR the whole NW wall so that I can start taking the tarp down during the day and still have some sort of privacy. It'll block a bit of the evening sun that they get, but being as it's hitting it direct from 10am-3pm at all other angles, they should be just fine and I could actually use the 99% reflectivity on that end while the sun is hitting during the intense parts of the day. Should help the lower growth on that whole side row develop a lil more.

I was just doing some maintainence in there a sec ago, and damn it's getting thick! I busted out my work knee pads & gloves and just slid around on the ground and did my thing. Getting some dead leaves off the plant/ground, using my hands to reshape the base of my plants to a "saucer" like shape, got my fingers into the top soil real good so that I could oxygenate the upper areas and allow better gas exhange/drainage. Then I mixed up 20 gallons of organic feed and gave them each a good dose, finishing with some EcoSmart Organic Insecticide. I'm glad I was down on the ground like that, cuz I noticed the beginning stages of some spider mite webbing that I may not have seen had I just been walking thru the rows like I normally do. I immediately took that shit down and made sure to spray that area a bit more than the others to ensure they were dowsed and rid them from my garden. Turned the dehumidier & hepa air filter on, and closed all vents & doors (it's 70 outside, so with the heat created from the dehumidifer it's a perfect 75 degrees in the GH and 55% humidity setting)

Just purchased a new GE Reverse Osmosis Complete Filtration Kit ... Only ran me $175 and has everything I need in the box. Last time my buddy grabbed one it ran him close to $300 so I was happy to get such a great deal. I plan to hook that up tomorrow morning and do a light feed. I'm sure the girls will love it, and it will make a huge difference in flavor when I do my flush as opposed to what I'm doing now (Garden Hose running thru a GE Heavy Duty Household Water Filter w/ Carbon Filter). I have no other use for the Heavy Duty, so I guess I'll continue to run thru that and then into the Reverse Osmosis, and the first filter will act as a sort of purge filter.

Neighbors fence is all finished! That feels nice to have that security/light threat eliminated, atleast to some degree. I think the workers were chill. We've talked to the neighbors before and know they're weird but are okay and keep to themselves. And what we're doing is 100% legal anyway.

I'm just worried that now I have to camp out on my deck chair with my 9 iron and stand guard ... haha I might actually be getting my buddies two pitbulls for bit if he leaves town, they'd make the best security guards (each 80-90 lbs).
