Anyone ever heard of Purple Berry?.....GDP x blueberry.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this strain.....it looks really good! the dispensery says its a cross between GDP and blueberry, sounds really good to me, i was thinkin of picking up an O and maybe even a clone while im at it.....(dispensery is two hours away so im just gonna buy a clone and the O together)

well i picked up an O and the clone. the bud smells really strong of berries, i was a little disappointed in the bag appeal, not that it doesnt look good, it looks great! its just, i have seen other purple berry that has a lot of color, this stuff doesnt have any.....o'well. the stem on the clone is VERY PURPLE, and the club said it gets color without cold temps, so we'll see. i'll probably do a grow report or journal.....not sure if anyone would be interested.

Well since there has been almost 300 views to this thread and virtually no pictures of this strain anywhere on the internet (that i could find) i thought i would post some up. this is the strain i first started this thread asking about "purple berry'' its what they called it when bought the cut, its GDP x Blueberry. the picture below is her coming up on her 6th week of flower. She seems like a winner so far, very resinous, looks like a good yielder, and as you can see she will have excellent bag appeal. i just wanted to share her with others, i'm gonna start a new thread so the title will be more fitting...im gonna post pictures of the whole plant in it tomorrow. i also have some clones that i took from her that are in there 2nd week of flower, i'll post them up as well, maybe log there grow week by week or something. if i remember i will post a link her, if i dont post one up and you are interested in it just search Purple Berry (gdp x bb)...... i'll name the thread that.

I have just finished harvesting my purple berry (granddaddy blueberry was what they called it at the club) and have four more giants in flower right now. This is a strain for the true enthusiast. The smoke is delicious with the blueberry traits really shining through while the buds finish super dense, purple and covered in sticky resin. In terms of growing the is strain, it's unmatched when compared to the last 6 I've had. It not only grew at a much faster rate (nearly twice as fast if not more so) but much healthier and sturdier. The plant responded very well to LST but is definitely a bit jute sensitive. I'd love to see more pics of your girls!
