Anyone ever try this with VEGGING??

While the girls are in veg mode, has anyone ever tried giving them 12hrs of 1000w HPS light then 6hrs of CFL to make 18hrs total?

I have a flowering tent with a 1000w HPS and it has plenty of room to shared the lighting. I was curious if you all believe the vegging girls will do better in means of growing fatter, taller and faster due to the 12hrs of HPS?

all thoughts welcome, even silly ones=] I'm baked!

Why don't you just use both at the same time then for the full 18 hours?

They will most definitely grow faster in the tent. I did that with a 400hps and cfls, it worked great, a bit of a hassle moving the plants back and forth, but totally worth it.
