Anyone ever used Jacks Classic Plant Food or organic molasses?

no problem at all. I had a lot of slow growing plants, ended up it was the temperature. I keep them around 76-83 instead of the old 72-76, and the plants started to crank up on speed. HID works really well for that man. t5's are great, but they are a pain to constantly adjust, and the heat necessarily isn't a bad thing, just keep it from being excessive. The temp is the plants metabolism, higher the temp, faster the growth, that is why when it gets up to 84 to 90 you need to add CO2 in order to keep up with the plants growth.

Yeah the whole fluorescents deal is really meticulous, but i dont mind taking a few minutes outta my day. And Ill keep it in mind, ive been using the old yeast and sugar CO2 thing.

Bumping this thread because more people should know about these nutrients.

Jacks works sure but the results may not be up to par with some of the mainstream lines, if you want a simple 1 part check out Veg+Bloom, ive used both and V+B works a lot better, and it has everything you need all in one.

For what reason do you believe that Jacks is not up to par with "mainsteam lines"? I find your statement comical because Jacks is one of the best nutrient companies bar none. Actually, I'm willing to bet that Jacks blows those "mainsteam lines" out of the water.

On a side note, I like that you recommended Veg+Bloom, but your sentence before that was quite foolish.


Edit: I guess what I meant was, "what" about Jacks did you find to be inferior?

J.R. Peters has been around for well over 50 years, much longer than these *mainstream* lines that just recently came into existence. Recent compared to Jack's anyway.
