I have some gromulch tht I like to use for the bark shreds in it in my potting mix . Should it be fine ? Anyone ever use it and how did it work out ..

I have some base mix of
3 parts peat moss
2 parts chicken n cow manure
.5 part of gromulch
1 part of perlite

Also if thinking making it 5/3/2 mix ratio instead
5 parts peat moss
3 parts compost/manure
2 parts perlite
Optional-growmulch

Which base mix ratio should I go with?

I wouldn't use that stuff. It's mostly wood and manure. If you do use it then don't add anymore manure. I'd also be concerned about the "Arbor Fines" they list in the ingredients. That's going to be what they grind up from municipal yard debris waste collection. The stuff they pick up from those bins people have that they throw all their dog crap and other nasty stuff into along with tree trimmings and diseased plant matter.

I think they still sell products made from sewage sludge but under a different name. They got caught years ago using that in their Kellogg's branded products and listing it on the label as compost. There are much better products out there to use. I used their All Natural Garden Soil years ago in planter boxes because the bales of it were cheap at Home Depot. I found out why. It was pure garbage. Nothing but wood. The first 2 ingredients they listed for it are the same as for their GroMulch, recycled forest products and aged arbor fines.

It's probably better to get something else instead of a bag of their bark dust/manure blend.
