Anyone grow Reserve Prevadas OG Kush #18

I grew their headband and it was the slowest vegging plant I ever saw. Smoke is incredible dont get me wrong but damn lets not get in any hurry now.

So is the OG #18 a faster grower? I dont need super speed but a nice 50-55 day veg to finish with 3 - 5 ounces would be nice. Flowering for 9 weeks is fine as Im used to that.:leaf:

The 18 I grew went about 14 weeks flowering and still wasn't ripe... But I think I just got a shitty pheno, leafy as hell

you know the flowering time should start when you see flowers not when you switch them to 12hrs it can take weeks for a seed to first mature

Good point. The headband that I am growing is also reserve prevada and is yet to finish at 10 weeks from flower....but its close and soooo good. I was looking at the OG because I was wanting a faster kush and the OG seemed like a natural choice because its famous but not if it takes that long.

I dont start counting flower until I do see flowers, and I am still over 11 weeks on mine.

DNA has better genetics all day long than Cali Conn. I've grown both breeders stuff and DNA has many more good phenos and alot less hermies..........10-14 weeks is crazy but you find bad phenos no matter whos stuff your growing. I've certainly found way more junk phenos in CC gear.

I agree.... I have grows Deadhead og which was junk my Ogiesel Hermied on me and my sour og was junk the only thing that was decent was pre 98 bubba and that took 5 months to veg and wouldnt clone at all so i lost the strain. But ive grown RP's OG, kosher, og18 (my favorite) holygrail and og18 skunk and was pleased by all.All my phenos finished between 65-70 days from the switch to 12/12

i like dna's gear, their headband and kosher are both real nice. but i wish they would do some reg kushes for those that wish to try hacking. atleast swerve offers people that opportunity. i just need a pure og in regs now without the lemon flavour and just pure fuel, any suggestions swerve?

Same here..I grew Larry OG and although the plant had amazing looks the smoke was mediocre...The MartianMeanGreen I grew together was stellar! So I guess DNA was better for me.
I'm growing this season the OG18.

OG 18 is a nice one, I grew it out a few years back she stretches like a mofo in flower. It definitely has the SFV smell and taste to it. I have grown lots of OG's from Reserva Privada, Cali Connection and OG Raskal.. I would definitely recommend OG Raskals WHite Fire as well, thats another good one, Tahoe OG is a great one too but a lot of people complain about Cali Connections hermie issues and what not.

I got test 3 O18 fems. The first one was some kind of mutant and the buds were not even frosty. The other two were top notch dense icy stinky OG flavored nugs. Decent yield and finished in 8-9 weeks.

In my experience every OG is hermy prone. My large air vents cause a slight glow bouncing off the floor during lights off which is a great stress test (flip flop system sharing the carbon filters). OG18, Kosher, Kandy, Tahoe, Buddha Tahoe, SSSDH Shire, Skywalker OG, Holy Grail, RP OG, Sour Kush every single one of them throws a few balls on the lower buds during week 2-3. Right next to them true females are hermy free cycle after cycle under the same exact conditions. The OG is so dank it is worth the effort to pluck a few balls off. My favorite so far is Cali Connection buddha tahoe fem.

Cc gear looks/sounds great but the prices are just ridiculous with all the herm issues going on...i just cant afford to a gamble on a professional...i shouldn't have to...at those prices they should be reliable.....

I had an 18 that was solid no sign of nanners or balls, accidentally tossed her and been crying about it since. Was just a freebie but was in my top 5 all time easy.

Uhm... 10+ weeks is bullshit. I am runnin a killer indica pheno of the og 18 (that i selected from 3 seeds) its not too indica but shows more of the indica traits than sativa. Im a DWC grower and everyone told me kush dont like bein grown in hydro... well guess what? I scrogged 2 og18s under a 600w agrosun red and im lookin at about a 12 oz harvest. Today is day 64 since 12/12 and day 6 of my flush and my trichs are at 75% cloudy about 10-15% amber and some still clear. Im choppin on day 67-68. Like i said 10+ weeks is bullshit and yes you DO COUNT the first two weeks of 12/12. Stop giving out false advice people!!!

I've grown 2 dozen from seed. They were finished in 10-12 wks from seed (from 1st preflower). Indica leaning phenos 10 wks and sativa leaning 12 wks.
I've grown at least 100 from clones. They finish about 2 wks faster, usually about 70 days.
I have 4 mums now of different phenotypes and growing out 3 clones from one of them. I expect them to be 70 - 75 days.
only reason I can think that they may be slow to finish is that I have been using 400 w lights to flower. I'll find out this time as I have switched to 1000 but 4 wks after the flip it doesn't look any faster.
