Anyone grown 818 Headband aka Sour OG before? If so how'd your grow go? Was it indica or sativa dominant? Mine is indica dominant.

Ive got an early version of a sour og. Its a cut from a friend. I have no idea who the breeder is but iam leaning towards an early Cali Connection Sour og. It does not hermie at all. Takes a good 68 days. Yields like a pig and is very sweet and sticky. Sativa dominant. Its not super knock u out uber potent but a very mellow long lasting happy high good for rolling down back roads with your hill billy friends listening to Skynrd. Lol. Its old. It was 3 or 4 years old when i got it and ive had it for at least 3 years. Its still vigorous. Lanky and stretchy as all hell. Huge colas that bud flop in late flower. Takes any nutes you want to give her and gives up gigantic thick colas of upper mid grade potency. Excellent cash croppper. Just not a devastating og like holy grail, triangle, ghost or any of the other rip your face off varieties.
found it easy enough to grow.
not a big feeder compared to others
could let it go 10 weeks +

strong indica, would knock me out initially. can remember my first cone of it and the high washing over me
shneakily hermied on me first time but the bud was very high quality and good yield. stretched and would collapse on itself.
smelled incredible, would saturate the house burping the jar.
second round very strong branch structure.. not as fragrant, high not as strong but very pleasant for chilling. disappointed in the yield but was a different set up to the first and she had a terrible start to life.
nice buds but will not be regular for me.

Sounds different than mine. Just goes to show how much faith you can put into a named "strain" these days. Especially shady breeders and cuttings. Not much. Iam almost certain my chem 4 and Blue Dream cuts arent real deal either. I dont really pay attention to names or breeder descriptions anymore. Because i just get let down. I go through cuts i receive or seeds (seldom) i buy and if its good i keep it. Names dont mean shit anymore. Everything is so random and variation is so high i dont even bother.

I love how mine is growing im gonna post an update, but when you say sneak in a few balls do you mean she hermied or gave off a frw seeds?

Yep a few hermie bits showed up in the lower bud sites. I spotted them and plucked them off, no beans.
Some hermies are sterile anyway and I have noticed that they seem are more likely to herm only on their first run for some reason. So I have learned not to cull a lady if it gets a very slight herm on its first run. I think the reason I culled this one was just because I have another plant with a similar flavor that was stronger.
