Anyone Grown Barney's Farm Red Diesel?

i started one a week or so back to supplement the loss of one of my twilight plants to hermi heaven. Shes slow goin right now in her early stages, only having one set of trues and working on a second set right now, but thats also because i have her in my top cab with CFLs, poor ventilation, and i threw her in a 3 gallon growbag as soon as she germed, lol. So thats probably the main reason for the slow growth, but im in no hurry anyways, i got 2 Bluecheese, 1 Twilight, 1 Whiteberry, 1 NOrthern Soul, n 2 White Widows goin right now in my tent, which will keep me more than busy while i wait on the regal diesel to get her groove on soon enough.

Gonna veg her out for 7-8-9 weeks (til whenever all my other plants are done flowering-- theyre in week 3 right now), n top her like 3-4 times, so i have a huge fuckin bush by the time im ready to flower, n when i do throw her into flower, shell just hulk the fuck out horizontally, rather than vertically. Im gonna go for somethin close to a 4-5 oz harvest from her to see if shes capable of it. if not, ill atleast get a nice 1 plant yield for sure of some of the best barneys nugs out there.

Hello in hell, those are new ones they are currently on training wheels. I got 7 non femenized Red D's going. They are looking better and better every day. I'm doing staggered strains. Red Diesel, Power plant, Barney's Blue Cheese, Belladonna and last not least White Russian.

Yo, that Blue CHeese seems interesting! Has anyone ever smoked it?

theres a couple different smoke reports on the blue cheese. mine in particular though, i got purple stems all over the place towards the top, every leaf has a deep deep purple stripe down the middle of the stem. it might be because temps drop kinda low in the apartment at night, but it isnt below 60, so i dont see how that could be it - but then again, lol, all of my plants but 2 have purple leaf stems - n i dont think that all of the other strains have a purp pheno. like twilight is definitely supposed to come out purp, but Whiteberry, northern soul, hell even my wWs have a little bit of purp in the stems, n theyve only been in the growtent for 2 days (vegged for 3 weeks in my top cab thats like 85-90 degrees).

--Either way, ill give a detailed smoke report of the cheese action, n once i do my 8-9 week veg on the Diesel, ill start up some pics for the masses

along with the red diesel reg seeds i picked up 5 blue cheese fems. cant wait for warmer weather.

my last was a bagseed grow and towards the end some of my stems turned purple. i thought it was due to the lack of nutes because of the last 2 week flush. grown in soil. was also getting cooler temps but not that cool you know.

Here are red diesels on the right and blue cheeses on the left. The red diesels were vegged for 3.5 weeks while the blue cheeses only about 2.5 both strains were 10-12" at the time of flowering.

The red diesels have some major branching and the side branches have caught up with the main cola.

I haven't trimmed these plants other than taking about 6-9 clones from each plant. Very nice growers...

I have some seedlings in soil too... 1 red diesel, 1 blue cheese, 1 skunk #1, and 1 durban poison.

The red diesels and blue cheeses are in hydro 4 plants under a 400 w HPS...

The last picture is of the red diesels out of the tent.

Diesels on the right and blue cheese to the left, what a nice world we live in, eh..? I bet the red diesel is worth more than saudi diesel and it tastes better too. Very nice plants..secret grower..definatly a motivation builder. I got some soil mix and I got to put the girls in bigger pots today.

How are you growing these? Pictures 1.4 & 5 look like hydro, the others are soil!

Yea, the seedlings are in soil and will remain so. I'm new to hydro and this is my first one so I thought I would see if there is any difference in the strains grown soil vs. hydro, but I threw in the durban and the skunk because they were free...

LONG STORY SHORT, i lost all but 1 of my Red Diesel Plants
but i have been taking care of that one plant like no other
LST'ing the SHIT out of it
and now, shes in week 2 of flowering and shes a girl!

secret grower-Pretty impressed with the Barney seed so far. I really like the looks of these fat indica leaves. What kind of smell if any are you getting off of your Red d and Blue Cheese? I'd like to make the hydro switch too, but I don't got the money right now.

Hello I'm one dollar. Glad to see you left the door open, we all came inside and made ourselves at home. Make sure you make a cloner mother out of your Red d because it should be interesting stuff. Are you getting any smell out of the plants yet?

How is RD for cloning?

I've got 1 topped twice from the 3rd node and the 2 second node branches are about 1 1/2". I was wondering what to expect when it comes time to take clippings.
