Anyone had to show their license to the police yet?

Has anyone had to show their license to the police yet? I haven't as of yet but I'm sure I will someday.

What do the cops do or say?

i was driving to the store to pick up some beer half way through a trim job and got pulled over on the way back home for taking a turn a little sharp. dude asked for it immediately along with license and registration. i didn't have the card on me, so he had to call it in. while we waited he talked to me about having to swear to uphold state constitution and federal constitution and how they conflicted in this case, how he hated the smell of burnt cannabis but loved the smell of fresh grown cannabis, wanted to know if i had any on me so he could see what it looked like...just a really chill conversation. i wish i had something to show him but had just taken it out of the car earlier that day.

the other time was not so nice. some of my plants were stolen from me and found around town along with an envelope on which i had scribbled a to do list. they used the envelope to find me and persistently kept trying to get on my property. they were on my side, they said. i politely declined the search over and over and over until they left. they never gave back my plants. yeah, my ass i could trust them. just as bad as the thieves who took the plants for not returning them.

every time I get stopped.
Guns drawn or not, doesn't seem to make a difference.
