Do you see some for sale somewhere? I wanted some of that, but they have been sold out for a bit and won't be putting more out until 2013. I've had good experiences with Mandala's Satori and Point of No Return, definitely would tru out other strains from them. Gage Green used 8 Miles High for a parent in their Flight 813 (or something) and GG usually has some pretty good taste in parents.Researching Mandala's 8 miles high. Any first hand smoke or grow info would be much appreciated
It's not up yet. I emailed them a few weeks ago and they were kind enough to respond with an estimate of Jan or feb and on a limited scale to a few select seed retailers. They didn't say who though. I'm trying to get my mind made up now, so if I find them at that time I won't sit around hem-hawing about it. Thanks for the reply. It's hard to find much info out there on 8MH.Do you see some for sale somewhere? I wanted some of that, but they have been sold out for a bit and won't be putting more out until 2013. I haven't been looking at 8MH until here lately. I just assumed they were recently out of stock. That might be a good explanation why there is so little info out there for a strain that gets pretty good press when someone does talk about it. how long has 8MH been on your radar? The consensus in smoke reports seem to be that it is clear-headed, motivational with mid level potency.
I have never seen it in stock personally. I often wonder how many times one smoke report is given and then others take it and run with it and post it as their experiences (ala Hazey). If I had ever seen it in stock when I was ordering seeds, I most certainly would have snagged a pack to try it out.
About 3 years I have looked for it when I have made seed orders and havent seen it in stock. I am not saying it hasnt been in stock in those 3 years, just never when I look (which is when I am making an order).I haven't been looking at 8MH until here lately. oh man, there are some treasures in there (BTB). My keeper is a BEAST. Columbian haze dom, massive flower/veg (around 14-16 week flower), I will putting its rooted clones straight into 12/12 from now on. There are definitely smaller, faster phenos, but I wanted a massive Haze girl, and got one.I'm gonna hop on board the 8 mile high train at some point as well most likely. For now I'm giving Beyond the Brain a chance.
My Man, You are a one man seed bank. I wish I were sitting on that much new adventure.I want a beast Haze plant too. Yeah, I did a little research before selection. Given those guys standards, the fact they released something that would be not quite up to their standards of stability etc speaks volumes. It might be a little while before I get to t hem though. I have NLxHaze from MNS in the fridge. I also have Hashberry coming and then I went ahead and picked up some Tahoe OG from Cali to take advantage of the 91 Chemdawg freebies.
And I have a shit load of other genetics not popped. (OG Kush x Tuscon Haze, Gage Green Bright Moments, C99 beans from more than one source, Blueberry, Critical Mass, Sweet Tooth, Kaliman Cheese #1, Rockster Cheese, NLxTexada Timewarp... the list is longer)
Could be years before I get through all this.
