Anyone In California Have Higher Limits Than The Default 6/12?

In Cali my county uses the minimum recommendations of 6 mature or 12 immature plants growing at any time. However, I believe my needs are slightly higher because I need to do a SOG grow in my small 4 sq ft space. My doctor has agreed to approve 12 mature/24 immature, but he is not sure how to go about it. He says that if I can provide some examples of how he might write such a letter that he will approve the limits I am asking for.

So, I am wondering if anyone has been given higher limits by their doctor and would be willing to scan a copy of whatever they received to show this? It does not matter if you edit out any identifying information. I would be very grateful and I will give rep, and I will send $1 Paypal as a gift (no fees) for your trouble. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

I think Oakland has an insane amount of 72 plants? I'm trying to figure out how to become a caregiver so I can grow for other people with a med rec. From what I understand if you get 2 people then you can grow 3X our 6X12 limit. I think the patients have to sign something with their patient # on that the grower keeps? If anyone one else in Cali knows how to do this please post a response before I get in trouble. lol

You can do this by having the person with a doctor's recommendation register you as their caregiver with the state department of health and human services. However, the laws on these things are shaky. If the police catch you with 216 plants they will arrest you no matter how many people you are caregiver for, and you will have to sort it out in court, legal fees and all. Historically, I don't think anyone has ever been successfully defended in a case involving such high plant numbers for so few people. Further, if you go to court, you will have to prove that you actually provide some form of care for each of those people besides merely dispensing weed.

This could have used its own thread, you didn't have to hijack mine.

I'm pretty sure that Humboldt is 99 in a 10x10 space. I'm also pretty sure that the city of Arcata has decreased the amounts allowed within city limits.
Hopefully someone who knows more can chime in.

Ok umm, this thread is about my needs. If you guys wanna discuss how to get rich by abusing the most generous plant limits currently available, you're all quite welcome to start your own thread. GTFO of mine!

UPDATE: I will pay $3 for the information I am asking for, or I may be willing to trade a video game for it (I have well over 1000).

ok I was asking for a favor that costs somebody nothing, and offering a very small token of my gratitude in return, because that was all I could really afford for something that is very simple. Really, I'm just hoping there's someone here who wants to help me out, instead of just posting sarcastic remarks and shitting all over my thread.

SR-71! I'm currently living in Northern Cali [Hail the Pot Gods of NorCal], and my friend recently got his card. Now, He lives in a town called "Cool" about 30min passed the Sacramento Suburbs. The Sr-71 cannabis card is for people that ONLY live in Oakland (Or so I think....). Where i'm from the maximum amount of weed you can have on you is a Quarter Pound. SR-71 gives you the ability to have a maximum three pounds.

All in all, I know for a fact there are many possiblities with SR-71 that aren't possible with the regular card. I'll try to figure out how many plants he's allowed to have and I'll let you know though.

EDIT: It looks like "SR-71" is just the name of a dispensary. He may have gotten higher limits from one of their doctors. Otherwise, they're probably just the limits set by his city/county, which override the state defaults. If he actually has higher recommended limits I would be grateful if you could hook me up with a copy of the written recommendation, and of course I would compensate you (a little bit). :-P

Interesting indeed. He has showed me his card before, and it really does look different from other peoples cards. Even though its only for people in Oakland, CA, if you know where Cool, CA is, it's no where near the Bay Area haha. I'm with this kid almost every week at least 2-3 times a week to smoke, He's kinda the one that introduced me to growing. I'll definitely give him a ring for you though and see whats up with his card and where he got it.

Well, if it says "SR-71" on it, then he got it at the dispensary called SR-71. Unless he has a written recommendation saying that his needs surpass the default 6/12 limit, then his limit is whatever city or county he lives in (Oakland, if that's where he lives).

GrowTech

stays relevant.
I am in SoCal and personally have no limit. It's called an SB420 exemption and entitles me to grow as many plants as necessary for my own medicinal purposes. Due to respiratory issues I cannot smoke cannabis as you traditionally would, so I have to cook it which requires higher quantities of plants and flowers. :)

im moving to santa cruz on jan. 23rd and i myself have pretty serious respiratory problems. Ive had severe asthma since i was 4 years old, and i love cannabis but smoking it sometimes triggers an asthma attack. I've just now been starting to realize the benefits of some strains of cannabis and how they affect asthmatics.
Please keep posting on this...id love to learn more

If it's cool to ask, did you just go to your original doctor and have him add some type of document to your license stating this? I'm in the mood for some baked baking but can't afford to waste all my meds!

much love
