Anyone Know How to Clean a Grinder's Screen?

So my crystal catcher screen on my grinder is basically I'd say 85% or more clogged and I'd like to clean it. I've already searched the site multiple times and searched the internet but can't seem to find anything that I havn't already tried. So my question is does anyone have a method or even know where I can find a tutorial video or something on it possibly? Thanks in advance :)

old toothbush... works great for colleting the cystrals :mrgreen:


but if they are really sticky on the screen and you can't brush them off, I would say alcohol

Yeah they're super sticky I used a air line with 150PSI backing it up to try and blow it out but that did dick all. The toothbrush I'll try in a minute, but with the alcohol would it cause the screen or any of the grinder to rust potentially?

I used alcohol with my grinder. Soaked it for like 20 minutes then rinsed it with hot water and scrubbed on it. From what i know oxygen causes rust which is why water makes metal rusty, but I dont think the alcohol will. Just make sure you scrub it clean and dry it well when its done and it'll look brand new :D Mine did! I was amazed at the amount of kief i was collecting afterwards haha.

No it won't rust.

Hmm well if it won't rust then I can do it, Now I just gotta get some clean isopropyl cause the only stuff I got around is dirty stuff I've ran through my pipe 5 or 6 times with salt in it :(. Thanks for the help everyone :)
