Anyone Know if This Works With Cannabis?

out of my own curiosity, i've decided to try this experiment myself. so far, after 3 days of 12/12 on only one branch, it's actually looking promising. i have at least noticed a couple of the budding sites starting to flower, and it's already producing trichomes, and it's still in my veg tent. again, this is in only 3 days! i'll post pics after a couple weeks to show the comparison

my curiosity with this is whether the 18 hrs of light on the majority of the plant will allow it to produce more, as it has more time in the day to photosynthesize
