it's waaaaaaay too small. :-?:-? :neutral::neutral:

not too small, compared to what your used to growing they are, but I thought the whole point of them being upside-down was because it would be better quality though, or something

how could it possibly be better quality? :-?

compared to everything else, ........... it's way too small. :cuss:

I dont know, I was under the impression that magic was involved, but I guess not :(
what were you hopping when you started this?
and is this the end of you journey into the world of upside-down pot?

i was hoping to grow a plant that could get rained on without the branches breaking. it worked in that sense. :blsmoke:

kick ass! mold isn't a big concern? you think its possible to get FDD sized plants in those things? if maybe a garbage pale was fixed up a bit :P ?

Interesting. doesn't weed have to have the top of the leaves pointed up to the light? i mean isn't that how it soaks up light and turns it into food? i'm curious if weed will grow upside down? i hope someone does a grow journal using that method.
the whole plant will bend up t the light to soak up as much light as it can

Hey FDD. I sprouted a few of those NL. Would you recommend, growing one in a topsy turvy?

those NL are a hijack cross. hijack likes to stretch. may be the perfect candidate. make sure to stake the main stalk straight down or it will just hook up and by right-side-up. though that could be another experiment as well. the plant is right-side-up, but the roots are upside-down. hhhmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think the only advantage of being upside down is, the "downtake" of nutes. Seems to make me think it flows better. If the plant just hooks up, i would think we loose the advantage of the ez of the flow. The plant has to work to transfer it up the stem.

I'm learning how to train the plants and learn witch way the plant grows upside down, with a tomato plant.

Anyone put more thought into this? The indoor approach seems to be a solid idea

ooo new idea

Indoor topsy-turvy vertical grow. Bulb in the middle, plants in a circle around, no drip issues, just profit???

First and foremost, I salut you sir...

I saw this thread and registered. I am also growing in e tipsy turveys but I am growing la cheese and growing in an indoor grow too with lights facing up. The plants are still curling up, I fear I may have to train them to grow down or change my lighting location. Thoughts?

Or I just may transfer to pots before its too late...
