I watched how to grow Mendo dope the other day, which is mendo dopes 2015 documentary available on YouTube. They claim to grow organically, but then are seen using multiple bottled nutes during the video, including superthrive, which they love. Superthrive is not organic. I'm sure some of the bottled nutes also weren't organic.

After watching the video and reading the comments, I was surprised no one had informed these "organic growers/rappers" that they are living a lie. Not only are they constantly rapping about growing organic and smoking organic, but they made a movie to teach people how to grow "organic" weed. They make money by being stupid and growing average chemed up plants. And yes, for the amount of money they spend per plant and on eqiuptment, I am calling their plants average, contest winners or not.

Personally this makes me lmfao, a little from jealousy that someone bankrolled them for what I've been trying to get set up for a couple years, and they got internet fame for it.

Anyways, I was wondering what the real growing community's thoughts on this were?

Fire in the hole....

Every so called organic grower uses some kind of synthetic. Theres only about 10% of truly organic growers that don't use synthetic. And usually is with a lot of trial and error that they find the best way to grow but even then you wont see the results that you would if there was synthetic nutrients added.

Hey there. I dont open one bottle start to Finish. And the quality is not anything other the top shelf medicine.
But i do see alot of people mixing organic growing with bottles. Doesnt work imo. Go all the way hard. No matter the side ofnthe fence.

Yeah sorry I don't use any "synthetic" nutrient. What synthetics are you talking about? I DO use bottles though... Dr Bronners Hemp Soap and Dr Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar.

And haha you don't have to be STRICTLY This or That! To each his own.

And OP why Not make your own videos or whatever and Instruct what You believe to be organic or whatever you want to teach...

But yes Superthrive is "technically" a Pesticide and can't be sold in Wisconsin and South Dakota Unless it is registered so. So to say it's a fertilizer is kind of a stretch.... But after righting this Comfrey is a Great Nitrogen source Yet if used in excess becomes toxic from excessive nitrogen. So... Who knows maybe Superthrive could be good... I guess haha someone should do a side by side and see how the Organic plants turn out and how the biological life. I would just don't have the room currently... By JESUS CHRIST'S NAME I'll be buying some property this year!!!!

if you count pro-tekt.
I am one of those.
I don't count it as a chemical though.
BUT I would happily put my organic-compost grown herb against ANY synthetic herb.
Pepsi challenge..
6 days a week and twice on sundays.
Now if by "results" you mean weight? than yea, MAYBE... but it's close..
And any discrepancy in weight, is quickly forgotten when tasted.
But yeah.. you don't see any organic farmers making weight records with pumpkins, watermelons, and huge ass veggies..
But that's also why I will always have clientele, because the product is superior.
They all have access to the clubs around here, but they keep coming back.
Like I always say.. anybody can cook dinner.. but only the few can cook it WELL.

superthrive is not "good", it's snake oil man. I mean ya, it won't kill your plants, but it's not useful.
like 90% of the shit you can buy at the hydro store.
And ANYTHING can be bad in excess, every organic nutrient will MANGLE your plants if used in excess.
Comfrey is reaaaaally hard to overdo it on.
But it's possible, like anything
there is NO safe nutrient that you can overdo it on.

fuck I deleted too much.
Anyways, shameless plug.... Lol jk not yet but soon likely.

And actually, I don't even claim to try to grow organic, because I don't try too. I like a mix of organic soil amendments, and nutes like foxfarm, max sea, dyna gro, etc in combination with teas. I could go on on my point of view as I am also doing irl in my current smoke sesh with 2 growers, one old school.

But my point in this thread is they branded themselves, made big money, and became peoples quote unquote idols. Just search threads related to mendo dope. It's almost offensive seeing new growers tricked into thinking they are following organic growing practices.

Ironically, their recipe is very similar to my ideal large scale recipe for profit. And theirs is time tested.. I just would prefer if they hadn't branded themselves organic and had been honest.
