I saw this video when I was 11 or 12. Can't remember if it was Cronkite or Huntley and Brinkley, but I do recall being shocked and amazed at the same time. It just looked so damn cool. No wonder I turned out to be a stoner.

I've never been in the military, but I know from personal experience that it used to be a lot easier to get away with that kind of crazy party before the services started drug testing, which was around the time Reagan got elected, I think. I used to hang with some Air Force dudes c. 1977 and those guys all had advanced degrees in party-ology. They could not get enough reefer.
