How would one know what the freebie is if it doesn't come in a breeder package? Ghs from my knowledge doesn't sell 1 seed packs. Even still, any "breeder" can slap their name on anything but that's where you need to sift through their history; dig up history & do intense research prior investing hard earned money.

We must remember, many famous loved strains today are bag seeds; while other great strains were bred with blood sweat and tears. You have the average Joe who's blind to the truth and can careless what he has versus a person who loves their hobby/job and is willing to put in the work to understand & learn all they can within this culture. Not every man in this game has good intentions for the consumer. Money will always change a person's perspective & actions... Swerve is definitely not a man who cares about what you get.

Creme what seed co. do you suggest as far as legit strains and good reputation?

When these finish I have a Greenpoint GG4 just going into Veg with a GSC that I really like and previously alluded to.

Actually it wasn't a free seed come to think of it (it was over 5 years ago), it was a single seed purchase from barneys, but you are right, it didn't come in a breeder pack.

Now the 818 I got from Cali DID come in a sealed breeder pack....Are you saying these beans are not his? And truth is, even if anything IS in a breeders pack, you still don't know what you are getting. Mistakes are made and breeders packs can often be resealed.

And you are absolutely right...Greed changes people. I actually hate dealing with ANY seed company and have yet to find a truly great one. Hopefully I won't ever have to buy seeds again!

Yes brother, the seeds Swerve sells aren't his genetics. He piggy back off of others hard earned strains. Money talks, others walk. Definitely got that right, i once got a DinaFem pack not in shrink wrap & i began questioning everything. My luck, the beans were junk. I reached out to them & they word for word told me via email, all their tin can packs are shrink wrapped. We're all humans and do mistakes but to scam people on genetics isn't cool IMO. If you were going to buy a Corvette but you drive off with a Honda for the same price, would you be upset even though you were told the Honda is the newest Corvette they made?

And I know, I have grown out so many strains only to find in flower they suck...and by that time I have made clones and have them growing just in case it IS a good strain by chance. So it's a lot of time & work and a big chance on any new strain..Not to mention it could morph on you and wind up with a room full of seeds, lol.

That's why once i found 3 good strains, I stuck with them and grew nothing else...all went sweet for about the past 3 years til I got powdery mildew a few months back...Now i am rebuilding and once again, experimenting with new strains....currently running a bunch of Katsu and Mass Medical strains, and hopefully 1 or 2 all of them will be great!

Katsu is a cool ass cat. Definitely helpful & friendly. Can't wait for his OGK S1 he is making with the original OGK cut from Florida. He's dropping it this summer, keep an eye out for a piece of history

Cali Con is hit or miss. Nothing memorable unless we're accounting for the images posted of Swerve sharing naked selfies.

I have experience with Cali Connection that I have posted here. Short story, grew out some of their Tahoe OG in greenhouse , along with 10 other strains, and thought exceptional. That was a few years ago. Wanted to acquire more Tahoe OG seeds the year later but sent $$ never received anything.
Long shot emailed them this week asked if still in biz. Got immediate reply saying they were " rockin".
I explained what happened last year and reply was " That was last year, this is this year" and said they'd send out 2 pks Fedex to me. Received message from Fedex with tracking. I even ordered some Larry OG and Corleone Kush. Will update

If a senior in the breeder game exposed him & isn't liked by ANY big name breeder due to his practices & ways, wouldn't you be curious as to why??? And even if he was selling someone elses genetics, that doesn't mean all of his stuff is bunk. Personally, I don't trust ANYONE, and least of all anyone involved in an illegal business of selling seeds. At least he took a credit card and shipped in a timely fashion, AND communicated with me AND replaced my seeds for free. That's way more than i can say for the last place i bought seeds from.

And unfortunately, how do we know you are not a competitor, lol...Seems to be a lot of trash talk between seed sellers, which makes them ALL look even that much more sleazy!!!! I'm sure there are some that are honest at the moment, but their moment could be very short.
