When I'm really really bored I'll go online and play someone in chess or dominoes, not really into card games though.

I entered a $20 satelite ( a tournament where you win entry to a bigger tournament), won that and entry into a $160 buy in. I am now in the money guaranteed $600. $20,500 for 1st place and 21 players left.

I played online for about 5 years and made a good living. After the government shut down my site (FUCK YOU GEORGE BUSH, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!) I have been trying to get reacclimated to the live game. I played at Fullt Tilt and knocked out Huck Seed, Phil Ivey, and Durrr (Tom Dwan) out of some pretty big tournaments (got the shirts to prove it, lol).

I just looked up Bovada poker and there are several places listing them as a scam and being investigated several times by the F.B.I.

They are not returning money to the usa people either. I've got a balance at full tilt and utimate bet that they will not send to me.

I used to play quite a bit at FTP, did ok too. But when the feds decided to make yet another one of my 'guilty pleasures' a crime, I played a little longer on the free sites. Totally lost interest in it though, too many donkeys going all in with 7/2 just to do it, complete waste of time. Been thinking about joining club WPT though. Love sit n go's while toking, now that's fun!

It looks like they didnt have they money even if they wanted to repay you, anyway. (Assuming they had to repay all customers balances, they had nowhere near that much cash that they should have had)......... Sucks! I'm sure the losses were in the thousands and thousands and then some for some folks.........

I prefer live poker when I can find a game. I still play freeroll satellites at Poker Stars and Felt Stars but I will not deposit with them, anymore. I've won a few bucks this way but I once won a $10 buy in tournament for over $700.

I've had alot of success at online poker, and yes I had a good chunk of cheese at Full Tilt that is still in limbo. If you don't play tournaments online, then don't start. It is pretty addictive, and poker is an expensive game to learn. I donked off thousands before I figured out tournament poker. Now I steadily rake some supplement money in my spare time. That 1k last night is the most I've won in a while.

For me there is nothing like a victory bowl after you play 8 hours straight and take down a major tournament. No smoking while I'm playing for real money though. Only coffee and cokes, then when its all over a blunt or bowl to chill the fuck out

my friend moved to spain so he could get his 10k out of his frozen account, that and play again. I'm pretty sure I still have like 70 bucks frozen in my full tilt account.
