anyone that actually knows about breeding

so....

i had twelve clones that were completely stable. i then successfully sprouted 20 seed plants, that were all female, and budded them with my clones. some of the seeds began hermieing as expected, in turn spreading to some of my stable clones. so heres the question...

the seeds from my stable clones will produce fem seeds from what ive gathered. will the seeds carry both plant genetics? if so i just made my own strain with feminized seeds correct?

Yes if the pollen came from a hermie plant that was originally female you made fem seeds from fem plants. Yes both genetics from both mother and father will be in there unless it selfed but it sounds like you have no way of knowing that. Sounds like you made strains not one strain but there's no way of knowing which seed pollinated what female. Unless all the seeds were the same. Still if there were more than one pheno there will be variations in the seeds produced. Also you don't know how homogeneous the strain was to begin with. Many good breeders like to protect their hard work. Say they got a strain like they wanted it... they make seeds with another of the same type (maybe different pheno). So it makes most of the seeds they produce end up like they wanted for commercial sale. Now if someone was to purchase those seeds and breed them together you end up with some recessive traits that weren't showing in the original strain and you have to work at rooting the undesired traits out again. This protects their work. Even strains that appear completely homogeneous will show %25 the same when bred together and the gene is not double dominate or recessive, if you see how punnet squares work. your plant hermied on its own so your seeds will have a higher rate of hermies breeders use a plant that is resistant to hermieing by stress than they use chemicals to make the male flowers so the seeds will be female

I you use Pollen from a hermie to pollinate a true female the seeds will be females & hermaphrodites

To make real all-female seeds you need to use proven female clone ( clone that you can't turn hermie unless chemically provoked )

Plant #1 used as a normal female , Plant #2 chemically provoked to make male pollen by spraying with either colloidal silver or silver thiosulfate (best choice )

colloidal silver is easy to find on net, call it the easy method as it imply no knowledge in chemistry you just mist your plant with the stuff witch is silver electrically dissolve in water.

Silver thiosulfate is the best & most reliable product to make all-female seeds having very little hermie incidence. Anyway it's the new & most advance method seeds bank use.

How to make Silver thiosulfate :
Prepare a 0.1 M Sodium Thiosulfate ( STS ) stock solution by dissolving 1.58g of Sodium Thiosulfate into 100ml of steam water. Prepare a 0.1 M Silver nitrate stock solution by dissolving 1.7g of Silver Nitrate into 100ml of steam water. Store the stock solution in the dark until needed to prepare the STS.
In general, the STS is prepare with a molar ratio between silver and thiosulfate of 1:4, respectively. Nearly all the silver present in the solution is in the form of [Ag(S2O3)2]3-, the active complex for ethylene inhibition.
Prepare a 0.02 M STS by slowly pouring 20ml of 0.1 M silver nitrate stock solution into 80ml of 0.1 M sodium thiosulfate stock solution. The STS can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month, However, preparation of the STS just prior to use is recommended.

This is bio 101, it's really helpful if you want to consider breeding.

Males have XY chromosomes, where as females only have XX. Since your father was a female that hermied it is still only passing on an X, obviously the female that took the seed has an X as well. So your seeds will contain the chromosome XX (female).

Now, your genetics might be hermie prone... which is a bitch, but hey, what can you do. C'est la vie.
