Anyone up for some serious fert testing?

I asked a mod to see if I could give a broken meter away. He said to post it. Hopefully another mod doesn't close this thread.

Ok long story short I aquired a really nice meter. I used it in Iraq for well over a year testing the drinking water I made. Its been sitting in storage for a few years. Its WAS a rock solid peice of test equipment that was always dead on for calibration. I broke the PH/ORP probe when I was cleanning it. I called the company for an estimate to get it fixxed. It will cost about $150 for the probe and another $60 for shipping and calabration. Overall somewhere in the ball park of $200 to $250 if you send it in. $150 if you want to do the work yourself and have calibration solution. Its not worth it to me considering I use soil.

The meter reads Temp, PH, ORP, TDS, conductivity and Resistivity.

I would like to put it to good use. If anyone is serious about testing various fertilizers and posting your results. I will send it free of charge. I prefer that it be a med paient, because they can get samples of various ferts from other legal growers very easy.

Oxygen redox potential basicly messure how much Oxygen the water can hold. I would think some of these mysterious mirical products will have an effect on ORP.

Conductivity and Resitivity are related to TDS, but I am not sure how they differ other than numbers. I guess it could relate to what minnerals make up your TDS, if that makes any sense.

The part where my finger is the part that needs replaced. and the cup on the right is damaged PH/ORP probe. I just have an expensive paperweight. Hopefully someone will be able to put it to good use.
