Anyone wanna throw me some feedback on my setup

this will be my first full grow from stat to finish and i have pretty high hopes okay so here goes

i have a decent sized closet where this is all growing good enough size for 3-5 plants which is all i need i sort of put aluminum foil all around the room to reflect sort of and currently i'm using a 250mh and it's beeming on 3 plants i have them in peet cups right now till this weekend when i can get out and get there permanent homes. i'm using just some miricale grow potting soil.. right now theey look really tall and have 2 sets of leaves coming off the top one set jagged.. i think when i get the pots this weekend i'll have to bury up about half the stem up because there really lanky. i have read some really good guides and i'm learning alot.. anyone with some feedback advice. emergency advice please let me know i'm hoping to meet some really cool people on here and hoping i can have this down to a science some day thanks for reading hope to talk to some of ya

use white paint instead of aluminum foil... foil is shitty..... pics?

Tin foil is not good with HID lights. You can use it with CFLs but not Hot lights.
Use soem flat white paint, ro white panels, or white shelf liners.

Get a good pesticide, like Home Defense, and spray the corners , around the edges and up the wall a foot tall, to prevent spider mites and other bugs, later.

First grow cool. Good luck, you ever tried growing in hydroponic? How long are you going to veg for? And do you have a HPS grow light for flowering? I wish you the best of luck and if possible put some pics up.

If you have a choice between cheaper soils and do not have money to spring for something a bit more suiting I would recommend that you get supersoil brand.

I have never burned a plant with it and it was a stand by when I was a wee grower.

The set up described is sufficient to produce quality marijuana (doesn't take much). As everyone else said ditch foil.

If he is getting a good pesticide for defending his plants he should probably get some thyme/clove/rosemary oil based killer as well just incase anything ends up popping up you already have it on hand.

I know it seems like everytime I find something in my garden i have to go get some zerotolerance, or phyta-guard.

Invest in some sort of bloom nutes, you probably won't need grow nutes if you are using mg type soil. Or I should say you probably won't need them unless you plan on getting your girls big.

computer paper instead of foil, foil will burn your babys, and keep the light a good distance away to prevent burning em good luck and just have fun

Wow you guys are the best.. i will upload some pics soon. planning on ditching the foil. also i planted one of my girls in her permanent home today. I washed and steralised an old one from a houseplant... pics soon. once again i'm hoping to get some feedback on some things i should change. not necessarily for this grow but next time as well

looks good, you gonna get a table or something more centered under the light? thats the only thing i would change, you can grow some monsters in there

go get some of the stuff they sell at your local hydro. cant rmemember the name. comes in a roll. mylar. thats it. get some mylar...but in a space that small. i wouldnt worry anyway. your gonna have what? 1 plant under there? 2 maybe? you dont need reflective stuff if you go get a couple side light floro set ups. they are cheap as hell. but white paint is good anyway. your set up is perfect for a couple plants... you will have no odor control though...be carefull what strain you grow....some will smell hard core. i had 65 plants in my grow and a bunch were super skunk. you could smell em 40 feet from my front door....it was scary as hell for a while there
