no chance of starting them under cfl's so i was wondering if i could just throw them outside for the hottest parts of the day 30/40's i know its cold im just getting impatient haha there just bag seed i dont see it hurting anything to try?

i would imagine id have some sizable plants come harvest if they survived haha.

This is true. I wouldnt say freeze tho, more like stunt. The plant will continue to grow when the temps increase with the proper light but of course will take a longer veg. Cold will screw you if in flower cause you know... plants trying to bud. In veg.. Will only make you wait longer given you keep vegging.
Marijuana wont grow below 58(f). It'll freeze up and roots wont do anything.

My advice is to not start them too early. Putting them under CFLs for a couple weeks before going out for good would be the best, but if you can't have them inside you will be better waiting til late april to mid may to start them so that it's warm enough, you really don't want to stress the plants in any way, you want them to be as healthy as possible to survive everything in nature.

Also, if this is one of your first grows, a really big plant can get out of hand easy. I startedmine inside last year for a couple months, and it was a BEAUTIFUL plant, but when it got outside it just shot up and got really lanky and hard to take care of properly. The bud that I got wasn't worth the quantity.

You will be able to achieve the outdoor world sooner if you make yourself a small greenhouse.. But you still gotta bring em in at night, if it gets too cold.

But the greenhouse will provide the plants with extra warmth. It can not be done in michigan any sooner then late march, and still you gotta watch em and protect em.
