GG how are those nugs looking? Enough drying time to throw up a few pics for comparison yet?

Well done! Looks as good as any plants I've seen posted anywhere.

Hopefully the price will come down on LED's, however, as it stands now, they don't fit into my budget.

Something else to consider when buying LED, that while it is undoubtedly more efficient and the ROI is pretty fast (depending on electricity rates) I can't see large scale unlicensed growers buying in anytime soon, simply because the capital outlay and risk of having your equipment seized could be an issue. If your operation is legal, no issues. Getting busted with $15,000 in LED panels would hurt ;-)

p.s. was just watching a news article and saw a Colorado operation using HPS and LED together in the same grow space. HPS/LED/HPS/LED/HPS/LED... clever I think. Probably easier to maintain quality output than a 100% switchover

if they ever make a 120 volt one ... For either company.. Advanced tech was supposedly releasing an elite agro 120 a while ago. They haven't yet.
GrobalDistributors.com has a package that can be used on either 120v or 240v.

There is only one CMH bulb that has been created for the horticulture market. Philips states that the elite agro was designed for horticultural purposes. All other 315w bulbs are described as commercial lighting bulbs. What sets these bulbs apart on paper is the UVA reading and the ppf per second. The lumens on the agro are higher, but lumens do not equate to usable light for our plants so that number is not relevant. Lumens is a measurement of visible light, visible to the human eye.

As for the non use of these in commercial facilities...there is plenty of use and increasing daily. Until LEDs (well the good ones) drop in price, these will continue to be the best choice for any educated grower building or renovating a facility.

The number one thing turning people off from these bulbs are the companies that are not selling the correct lamp with their package. As testing has shown, if you are not using the elite agro you will NEVER want to use these again. The other CMH do not even come close in any aspect. This includes the 860W (also known as the 900w) which is mostly in the green color spectrum and is near useless in cultivation.

Yea cause pulling big numbers and exceptional quality with my "mostly green 860 watt" lamps has been so useless for me....this was the biggest load of crap I ever read on this forum in 3 years

he ^^^is right Coco, the 315w is more geared towards our use...........the 860w is DESIGNED for retrofitting 1000w vertical oriented mh fixtures in commercial lighting applications. Doesn't mean it won't grow bad-ass buds, as you know/show friend..........sodium streetlights also do a damn good job:wink:

Don't get me wrong psu, I do my research, heavily...I know what he was trying to say. Shit I have the 315 watt units now lol, but i reacted immediately to the comment "This includes the 860W (also known as the 900w) which is mostly in the green color spectrum and is near useless in cultivation" . Now near useless??? That was a heavy handed comment with I'm assuming research done with that wattage bulb in the wrong hands lol.
It makes me laugh a little when people refer to hps bulbs as street lights doing a great job, not because hps was obviously designed to light our streets, but because they are using in bulk some completely standard hps. Not like they are lighting up our highways with hortilux and gavitas lol but maybe I'm wrong??

Ah, should have read all of his quote, missed the "useless"part, lol.it has some of the highest par #s on the market! Definitely misinformation on his part.......my fault for not catching that.

Be safe grower

My in-laws are in town again so trimming is on hold. Samples are ready to be sent to the lab. Hps is done trimming, just curing now...all I will say is it's not record breaking for hps. But grade A+++ as usual. Led was only 32g short at pre-final trim so I expect it to be close with just a little less trim weight loss. I will say that I know for sure that I am not missing anything by running leds. That is a little teaser for now, no one caught the last hint. I'm thinking I will be done tuesday or wednsday with final weights.

But for now... I did get new genetics....White Buffalo...[Romulan x (bay11 x Blackberry kush)]
http://kingklonebrand.com/product/blu-purpd-1/

Winner winner of genetics in there. It's got a little of everything great in it. Unique and exotic, but should be a producer too.

I also cloned this nice jilly dominant (GSC x Jilly) of mine to death. I will run eventually to see what's good with it. Very potent stem smell so far.

Oh yeah, White Buffalo sounds like it will be amazing. One of the dispensaries I get GDP genetics clones from does the BluGenetics Brand. Always turns out to be super duper fire. Looking forward to the bud pics/update.

They started showing up around here about 6-9 months ago as king klones...wasn't till I got these the other day that I saw the blugenetics part. I just figured it was some off shoot of GDP genetics. I'm glad you have seen good stuff coming out of their gear. I figured it would be solid.

I'm really excited...I love cool new genetics.

Genie is your blue dream the olds chool cut? I don't really like blue dream.. I smoked some yesterday that was of the original old school cut I guess. A friend grew in hempy buckets. I have never seen blue dream of that phenotype before. I really liked it... I'm just curious though. I have never seen white buffalo before either. I don't think..... Gsc / jilly sounds yummy, Its going to taste like sherbert :weed: o_O:P.

Yes can't wait to see some final results...dried. I personally want to see how dense the AT600 buds came out.
I know you do. You have said it many times. And when they are ready, you will see them...I don't hide anything. There are no difference in size or appearance. Slightly darker green, and less fox tailing is the only difference(even in final weight). Unless I mark them you would never be able to tell...just super dank big buds that if a person didn't know what led's can do, would think it's big ass hps bud.

Ya, the clone only version...sometimes called the santa cruz cut since it's a santa cruz SSH male that made it.
It is one of the best of all times imo. It's just too popular on the growing scene still. Used to be worse. But still is difficult to move no matter how good. And the price gets killed with so many growers.

So white buffalo is my choice. New and cool, with great potential.
