with 2 gallon pots.. we hit 3 ozs a piece.... it really depends on how big.. we transplant from beer cups to 1 gals to 2 gals.. this round only because we arent growing on site at the moment.. and our friend that allowed us to keep a mom room open agreed to allow us to flower out there while we wait to get in the new place..

so by the time we transplant into 2 gals.. they are topped a bunch.. and bent sideways to get the bottoms to catchup to the tops making for more tops.. then flower after 10-14 days after transplant.. ill post what i yield feb 1st.. we are leaving this here to flower.. and will setup other rooms in jan 1st to start at the new place.. gotta grab a few big ass tents.. dont feel like building rooms again.. want to be able to take down rooms within a few hours incase anything stupid happens.. fire.. flood.. breakin.. or anything.. so tents it is .

5 gallon pots are not that high, like $2.50 at lowes. Highly recommend getting some. Clear out the other plants as the others said. I grow in an apartment as well. Definitely not easy or recommended. As for 4 ounces out of a 3 gallon pot, it can be done. Just not easy. A good heavy yielding strain helps. I grew some Bay 11, netted a bit over 4 in a 3 gallon, and a bit over 6 in a 5 gallon. Both in soil.
Yea apt. grow in less free states is only for the careful. I tell no one, and I have two huge air cleaning plants for stealth, and try to set the dark hours to happen while i'm at work.
The pots I'm looking for are rootmakers each about $13 a piece, total is $70+ for four of them with shipping.
I've hit already hit $350 investment in this gro so i'm taking austerity measures for now.

you can easily pull 4 zips from 3 gal. in coco....size of stem, really!!!
Yea I'm actually hoping for thick stems, like some of the best yielding plants seem to have.
All my other grows are only as thick as my index finger, like the stalk quits growing as soon as flower starts and I end up with plants that look too big for their stalks.

size of stem is genetic, they can go from thin to thick in same strain but different pheno...not something i would judge by.

Yea you deffinantly have a nice enough root system to throw em into your coco, just make sure you rinse it first! (If it's not pre-washed)

Sooo I took clones from all plants and they are now in the flowering phase.

Pics 1- 3are of the bagseed which I had to transplant during flowering because of poor root development.
Looks like it should yield about 1/4 oz in two weeks. :eyesmoke:

Pics 4&5 is Urban Poison with flimsy leaves: ~9 more weeks
Pics 6&7 is a "prettier" phenotype of Urban Poison : ~9 more weeks

Based on the smaller bagseed plant which is growing in about 1/2 gallon of coco, I estimate that each of the 3 gallon pots will yield 3+ ozs if everything goes well.
I will try to post yields when this is all done.
