Apartment Growing [How often are you bothered by staff]

Man I was on Craigslist today and theres this apartment complex down the street from me offering free utilities and no deposit for $600 a month. On a two bedroom. Ha!

I own my own home now but its at full capacity so im bouncing around the idea of getting a rental to grow in.

I figured, you know, at an apartment a man could grow in the bedroom and keep the doors locked and probably make it work. Not sure where i would exhaust though.

Good God...what area of the world is this?! $600 for a 2 bedroom?? :o As far as intake and exhaust, does the unit have a skylight or laundry room?

Then again, with free utilities, as soon as the landlord sees their electric bill skyrocket immediately after you move in, that may raise some eyebrows. Is this a medical grow state or stealth operation?

Max stealth for sure. The apartment complex is ghetto as shit but i like the idea of being able to come and go as i please without raising suspicion. Where as if i got a rental house i might have some nosy neighbors. Also liking the idea of not having to register a second address under my name with the utility companys.

I think the elec bill would be fine because i wouldnt use any elec besides for the lights. Could probably unplug the water heater. Not sure about washer/dryer hookups.

How often do landlords check in on apartments for shit like pest spraying and air filters. Thats what im worrying about. That and exhaust.

All I can tell you about landlord checks is how it works where I live. Landlords are required to give me at least 24 hours notice before they can enter my unit for any reason, unless it's an absolute emergency like a major flood, fire, etc. Even if I worked a full day, I could still easily get rid of all traces of a grow within 24 hours. Then again, I live in a medical grow state and have my certification, so your mileage may vary. This, among other things of concern, would be clearly stated in the lease agreement so you would want to review that quite thoroughly.

If you're on the top floor with access to a skylight or anything like that, that can be a great way to get intake and exhaust set up assuming you have the odor control issue well planned out. Same goes for laundry room dryer vent setups, but it's all about the odor since you'd be going max stealth.
