Apartment Wiring

Don't do anything Pay someone to do it for you if you have to ask this question.

Two 1000W HPS in a apartment? Your joking right? Even if it was wired up 100% safe and proper it's STILL a bad idea.

Think about this:
- The smell.
- The heat.
- What if landlord wants to come in for a inspection or if maintenance needs access?
- Abnormal electric bill. Everyone in your apartments pays lets say a average of 75.00/mo for example but your bill is 250.00

Oh yeah but I assume its legal to grow cannabis where you live so you shouldent have anything to worry about...

I do think you can change out the circuit breaker from a fifteen to a twenty as long as the can fit the same spot in the board, they pop on and out from where the plug in. Your wiring should be all set as long as it a descent 120v wiring. If you were trying to run a 220v breaker you would want to update the wiring to something with a bigger gage. You should be all set to do this, but first talk to an actual electrician.

Breakers (switches) controling individule circuits. Also, house wiring is not a good correspondence course. So I do not wish to say very much, except much of the BS I have seen here the last couple of days will kill someone. AC is not an amature sport. If you insist on doing some wiring solo, then start by reading a how-to book. There are several decent books at the big-box stores.

Be very careful. Which is really a stupid thing to say, because most people do not know enough details to know when they are violationg safety rules.
