Perk, maybe grab a giant white tupperware bowl, cut a hole in it, and use it as a reflecter for that double CFL fixture?

I know what you are saying, thanks for the advice. I am waiting for the 105w lamp http://www.amazon.co.uk/Green-Lamp-...4Q/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1357069411&sr=8-11 . Due to this holidays the post is working like shit, I've ordered it on the 21st of Dec...and it should come this Friday, so till then I'll live it be.

Man...I just upgrade to 150w HPS...So I have an EXCESS of CFLs...Wish I could look out for you guys somehow....

That's a nice thought! But you should keep your CFL's, if not as piece of history, then maybe you'll need them for other projects you'll start and continue with the HPS. Light keeps the darkness away

Good news, my 105 lamp has arrived and I've installed it just now. Looks cool, has a huge CFL, hope it will last. I am a bit concerned with the little one. Doesn't look too good. Hope she will be Ok with this new light. She is smaller then the 1st one and her 2 real leaves are small and a bit dropped and they look lifeless. One of the cotyledons is a bit yellowish, this is not a new thing, it came out from the ground like that. I'll try to do some pics later on today and post them, maybe you guys can direct me to save it

the 1st one looks great, only question I have for it, when would you advice me to move it into a larger pot? I was thinking tomorrow or during the weekend ( not in the final pot, but in a transition/vegetation pot

Id say within the next few days, maybe give 3 days or so let the roots fill in, not lock in but nicely fill in, you should be able to see a few poking through the holes in the bottom

and I have another query regarding the humidity level. From what I've read, plants are happier in a low humidity place and they produce more when drier. Am I wright? If you know any links to humidity level guides please post them. I will try to find and buy a humidity meter today. Regarding my closet...at the moment there's plenty of space and with that fan the air is circulating so I'm presuming I have a low humidity level now. Questions to be answered how to decrease or increase the humidity level? (to increase I think is simple, just put a pot with water in the closet; how to decrease it? fan? increase heat? I'm between 24 and 26 C constant with the temp at the moment. A/w opinions and guidance. Thanks

yup, I was thinking the same, maybe during the weekend on Saturday or Sunday. When changing the pot, is it better to do it with the soil being moist or dry?

On humidity perkle 30 on the low side, 70 on the high side, air movement can get you by when the humidity creeps up-

Its better to do when dry. And yes humidity really becomes most problematic in flower because too much may cause mold. so i agree with ^^ if you got air movement it will cause faster evaporation from the leaves. Intense heat may raise you humidity by causing moisture everywhere in the room to evaporate into the air

i read somewhere that vegging plants like the humidity around 50% and then flowering its around 40%
i wouldnt bee in a hige hurry to transplant, the root mass probabally hasent filled in that great yet and that can make it more difficult to transplant. you want to transplant them when the soil is mostly dry and you can tap the bottom of the cup and the root ball holds the medium to the shape of the container.
