Apollo 13 BX Review/Help/Log

Hey guys I recently got 10 seeds from the dispensary and was wondering if anyone has grown or is growing this strain right now?
I germinated 4 seeds and all 4 sprouted and were placed in oasis cubes. Transplanted them into soil and now have spouted and are on their journey to the motherland.
Trying to get any advice on growing this strain and or any success stories. Hope to hear from you guys.

I just finished the Apollo 11 from Joey Weed. It came out decent. It did not produce like I wanted but the buds were nice. It was good smoke and finished in about 50 days.

Thank you for the comment. I heard the Apollo 13 back cross is suppose to the holy grail of hydro growing. 63-70 day flowering cycle. Hope it isn't a let down : (

I grow TGA's vortex (which is very Apollo 13 dominant..especially certain phenotypes) and it is insanely wonderful in everyway. Potency, taste, ease of growth, etc....
I haven't actually tried the Apollo 13 BX yet...but I kinda obsess over looking for TGA genetics at dispensaries...and they are always freaking mind-blowing (providing the grower made a nice pheno-selection and grew out the plants nicely,etc...). I'd say you can count on finding one, if not more killer moms in your ten pack. The only thing I'd say is: I grew out 5 seeds of Vortex and got 4 females. I kept 3 of the girls because they are straight dank. One of them however was very loose (still potent and tasty though..) and I did not keep any clones to continue growing. If I had only grew 1 seed, and gotten this "loose" pheno...I would not know the dankness that the Vortex contained. Who knows what my other 5 seeds may hold? keep this in mind and you will find Dank fo sho.

Roger that. Super excited for these TGA seeds! I have a good feeling they are going to make the rest of my girls jealous ; ). I will keep you posted most definitely just pop in every now and then.

Sounds awesome...I am excited to see how they do for ya. If you want to see the Vortex plants I got from seed, I have a thread on Subcool's Oldschool Organics Forum. Here are a couple pictures of the apollo. The one in the still short hasn't grown all that much but has a good root system (still the same size). I don't think those cubes are all that good for germinated seeds?

Also i just placed them under my 1000 W lamp (the sprouted ones). They are about 6 ft from the light and on the outside... is that okay?

I am trying to go areoponic. Could anyone recommend a good starting mediums? Thinking of cloning the mother of the Apollo and going aeroponics with them.

i got my apollo 13 from the bros grimm back around 1995. i made a bunch of F2s and i grow out a few every few grows. it's not much of a yeilder compared to others but it's a nice high. mr soul said it would make you cough and sure enough, even though the taste is smooth when i first start toking it, i'll cough. kinda funny.

here's a pretty typical apollo 13 at about 45 days. i can grow out 30 seedlings and 28 of them will look pretty much like this (structure wise) but some yeild more than others. i vegged for 2 weeks. those long side branches don't produce much but it's a nice high. if they don't look like this, then the breeder has strayed far from the original.
