I'm getting one just like it...your's is cheaper then mine....I gotta 400 Apollo now .My tent is one square meter... "40 x " 40
 
I think Purple Reign is made by Apollo. I have one of their ballasts that goes between 400 and 1000. Its a great ballast and when my Solis Tek ballast craps out I'll get another one of these PR to replace. I'm not sure if they have complete packages or just sell ala cart.
 
tents are cute. too little.

1000 de need at least 24-36 inches before canopy. if you have a lot of fan movement you can get by with the minimum distance, but alot more heat and intensity. 1000 air cooled is perfect in a tent.

there are air cooled de hoods, but it is an oxymoron. the glass diminishes the purpose of a de.

I will let you know how it works when I am up and running... if it doesnt work I have no issue removing the tent and using the room the tent is in. I have a good tech working with me and as far as exhausting the nearly 3500 btu's should be covered and the plan was to keep the plants short and scrog'ed to keep height to a minimum. made no sense to invest in less than a DE if going 1000 watts... appreciate the insight and OP, sorry for taking it off topic for a moment..

600 would be more beneficial

True with the 1000 watt... you could always do 2 600's... just to add a twist..... DE is double ended

Double ended it has 2 connectors instead of just one you screw in its more like a floro connectors.
Making it more efficient by some % I cant remember.
 
Why tent? I would go with 2x4s and drywall. CHEAPER, BETTER, MORE CUSTOMIZABLE. Framing is the easiest shit on the planet. I ditched the tents and would never go back.
