1 Blue 460........................... (90 degree)
4 white 6500k......................(90 degree)
4 White 5000k ................... (90 degree)
3 Red 660nm ..................... (90 degree)
3 Red 630nm ......................(90 degree)

The whites have uv and ir. So no need to add those low 0.8 watt diodes for uv and ir.
Isn't the Cidly Apollo grow light only can be built with 5pcs Blue and White LEDs maximum at each orb? I am afraid your Veg spectrum ratio has been too many White and Blue- total 9pcs.

this configuration is the limit for the apollo drivers(32-45DCV)... very critical!

Just tried it, it seems the round 2 apollo review is not too bad. And it also says cosmicgrowth is CIDLY official distributor in Canada? Has anyone tried it yet?
I purchased a 6 from Luke at cosmic growth several months ago. He was super fast emailing and really helpfull in deciding which light to choose. I ended up with the flowering spectrum and 90 degree lenses. It draws about 200 actual watts. I have completed two grows with it amd it seems to surpass my 400w soduim light in both yield and bud quality.

I was sent a spectrum ratio diagram of prebuilt lights that have the same amount of blue. They can run it they just dial back the mA. Look at their aquarium lights. They run only blue and white leds but the apollo 8 aquarium light runs 24 watts less than the apollo 8 grow light. Im looking about 0.16 watts less on each blue and white diode. Its for veg and does not need as much light as flower. I want the proper ratio needed for veg that plants absorb of Blue/red 60/40 or 70/30

Well, it is not an input current problem, it is an input voltage problem. Your spectrum ratio is more than 45V, not fit for their drivers.

Sorry if I am digging up an old thread as I have not been on this site in awhile but was looking for more info on Apollo's and found this holy grail of information, I am torn from looking at his (sing's) blog and info on here to what I should actually order....I have a 5x5 with DWC on 5 big buckets been using 600w HPS for awhile now with great results but heat and such is a pain... I am looking for most likely 2 lights....thinking 2 8's or 2 10's? I am just torn and looking for some information from people who have actually dealt with them so far. Thank you in advance.

i am looking for ideas spectrum wise for my apollos and that looks like a pretty good spread from others i have seen before, still trying to figure what model i need 2 of for core saturation of a 5x5 = /

SG

x2-3 10s (or even 12s) with supps if need be for a 5x5 I would venture to guess. whatever combination you need to get a nice square above your canopy.

I have a 200W 6400k CFL, hence why neither of those combinations I posted have 6400k in them. Ill sit the CFL between my LEDs right close to my 3x3 scroggy. $580 for 2x Apollo8s to Canada. Im sold. I just have to nail down which combo I want.

wow 580 for 2 x 8's to CA I wonder what the dif would be for to the states... they still haven't responded to my post on their site yet = / , I mean I have a 600w hps as it is 2 x 12's would be like 800+ watts trying to stay within 600-675 range or the lady will rage on me for power usage >.<

sounds like 10s are where you need to be. they would put you just over 700W. 8s if you want to be under 600W but they wouldnt cover 5x5 without movers IMHO

Ya 10's sound good to me from what reserch I have done but I was also maybe thinking one of the bigger lights like a 12 or even larger on a mover....I am setup perpetual grow so I harvest like every other week so jus trying to figure go all in or save some bucks and mover with one big light... what you think?

SG

one A-12 on a mover would be amazing (guessing as Im a relative noob). but I would definitely go that route if I had to or wanted to.
