Hey guys..

When doing a simple renewal.. No info/script/location changes.. What forms do I need to get/fill out? And.. About how long before it expires should I send in the paperwork? This is my first year, and both my possession/production cards run out in January. I'm thinking, send it in about October?

You know, Health Canada should be ashamed of how little info you can find in their website. :wall:

it's actually very clear on their website, as long as nothing has changed since your original, all you need to fill out is form F, and have the same doctor who originally signed the paperwork sign it again, you'll then need to fill out any corresponding forms such as Form C, D, E1 or E2.

Each form is it's own authorization, the one the Doctor signs is simply a declaration of diagnosis, and daily requirements etc, then there's form C, authorization to produce, then there's form D, to allow for a designated grower, then form E1 which allows you to obtain medicinal cannabis from Health Canada, and Form E2 that allows you to purchase seeds from Health Canada.

The only required forms are A and B1-B2, everything thereafter is simply an addition, and is not required, but since in your case, you would replace Forms A and B1-B2 with Form R, and fill out any additional forms you want attached to your license.

Think of it like a computer program such as Paint Shop Pro, or another modular based program that allows you to download and include "Plugins" that allow you to do more things through the addition of functions that show themselves as features.

In the MMAR program, forms A1 and B1-B2 are the "Program" and each additional form is a "Plugin" that gives you extra "Features".
