Few things... I once signed up for the Marines, I made it through the initial pre-test at the recruiter office, then on to the federal building for the real test, passed successfully score of 87. I then went to a hotel overnight on the government, ate dinner and breakfast on the government, and got half way through my physical. Long story short I told the Marines to go screw, peeled off my barcode sticker, and walked right out the door. I was told by the staff sergent who recruited me that no one has ever done that and then he threatened to throw away my highschool diploma (he had original). I was a huge pot head then and still am now. I got my diploma back and went on with my life like nothing ever happened... So, no worries if you applied, all that will happen now is they will bug the crap out of you to sign up. They used to call me (army, navy, marines) like telemarketers, it was ridiculous. Eventually they'll give up.
To whoever asked what the government recommeneds to pass a drug test, the staff sergent who recruited me asked if I would pass a drug test and I told him no. He told me to stop smoking now and the morning of the test to drink a gallon of water with a pepsi cap full of vinegar and that would be enough to dillute my pee and pass the drug test. So, thats what the government recommeneds! --- Substitution will NOT work, they have guys watching your penis the whole time and they visibly confirm its your pee entering the cup.
