April 1st approved changes to mmmp law

Does anyone clearly understand if the changes made and/or the changes that are coming into effect April 1 allow a caregiver to sell/donate to a caregiver or patient that is not registered under them?

What are the changes that you have heard about that are going to happen April 1 ?

theres a ton of changes that went into effect in jan and coming into effect april 1 check it out on the michigan.gov website

There is not a TON of changes with the recent Bills that passed , some chages yes such as no P2P and Legal definition with outdoor locked facilities .. Meds must be in trunk and in a case or in the back of vehicle w no trunk out of reach .. Caregiver and Felonies is another small change .. I have the paper work next to me but am not able to copy and paste as there are a few other changes too

All in all there were some changes and everybody needs to know for themselves what is what .. But this is not the end of the road sad to say

The changes are noted on the lara mmp site. The carrying the meds in the trunk etc are ALREADY in affect. The felony change to the caregiver sec. is not a small change it will cause HUGE change. Nothing in the changes that go into affect have anything to do with p2p.

I agree with the felony statement but it is what it is .. Sad to say many will loose there caregivers and medicine due to this alone ..
And the recent changes were due to the Michigan Supreme Court but we might as well just tally these rulings with the new laws going into effect thanks to the sneaky A.M. last minute bills

Not necessarily true for those who will be facing inferior outdoor cash crop meds next fall .. I am already for this wave that will become . Thousands plan on getting rich under the sun this year in Michigan and I sense most wont even care about the products in the end like the trend I have seen with the indoor cash croppers or should I say wannabe growers as most never truly obtain a level like they intend in the beginning ...........Peace

Just to clarify it is not a NEW law rather it just spells out what was already in the law so that the leo and prosecutors can understand since they need help in reading and understanding simple words.

I figure if you in it for the love of the plant instead of the cash then you would be growing it all year round regardless of what some idiot typed into a law!

How can u grow outside and not be waaaay over the limit when u crop them? I grew 6 plants outside back in 2001 on my property up north and I think I pulled a pound or more off of each lady. You wanna talk about fear. I remember trimming all of it in 3 days in a pop up camper and leaving it to dry for a week. When I came back you could smell it from a 1/4 mile. I drove it all back in a minivan in broad daylight in Rubbermaid totes. If I would have gotten popped it would have been really bad!

If you grow outside you're gonna be chopping it all in a short time frame before the frost sets in. You WILL have lbs on your hands. There ain't no lawyer getting you out of the felony charges. No way!

I think the entire dispensary issue highlights the fact that many people disregard the limit. The fact that there is enough to be sold out of shops casually hints towards the fact that people are producing way more than they are supposed to. I think that when anybody (pro-MMJ) has an issue with dispensaries, that is really what it comes down to.

BS. I'm always legal and always have some to spare after patients are cared for. The outdoor weight comment is right on though. lots of people are going to lean on the "enough for uninterrupted access..." part of the act but no cop is going to pass on busting you should you get caught way outside your limit. Your defense might work but only after great cost to you and loss of the crop you're caught with. The dispensary guys are hip to the outdoor junk. If I was a dispensary owner in October I wouldn't buy outdoor for any more than 100 per ounce because I'd know that you're shitting yourself with tons of it on your hands and it's only good for concentrates anyway 99% of the time. The first time I sold overages was in September 2011 and it was awesome! I was 4th in line to go back to the med area (all were trying to dump overages on them) and I could hear the first 3 guys get shot down for looking sub par and having a terrible trim job. I got the look like "oh another one of you guys..." and the face was priceless when I pulled out my best stuff. "dude.....where did you GET this?" was about all he could say for a full minute. ROTFL probably my best day as far as feeling like I knew what I was doing and also the first time 9 years I could openly talk about a sale of what I grow. I was flying high that day. just a fond memory now but still makes me laugh.
