Are hermie's seeds useful?

So those do look like female hairs to u? I'm thinking its female but this I my first grow so just gettin a second opinion

Females get single ball
that comes to a point at each node elbow, it opens to reveal a hair. It gets thc crystals on it as bud develops.

If you see a banana looking cluster that is on a short (2mm) stem that is a male pollen sac. It opens to release pollen.

This is my experience with sexing, maybe some one has better info.

Late bud hermies will have bananas sticking out of the bud. Usually harder to notice so keep an eye on the sex areas.

A lot of strains come from hermie plants. I think trainwreck is one of them. People have tried to breed out the tendency but it kind of remains. A lot of super dank buds came from hermie plants and people still grow them despite their hermaphrodite tendencies because they're dank. Bag seed a lot of the time is the result of hermosa growers don't notice.

Do I grow out seeds from plants I know have Hermed, not usually. But one of the most Fire romulans I've ever run was one seed of 3 I found in a nug a few years back and decided to grow out because it was so fire. All the seeds grew out female, almost identical to the nug I took it out of. Probably a Hermed plant.

Yeah why not? Experiment if you have the room. I had this seed that I grew from bagseed. The plant was a hermie and accident pollinated a holy grail kush i believe. So i took the seeds of the holy grail kush. Tried growing a few of those seeds and it got cross pollinated a few times by accident. Tried growing those...still hermied and accidently got crossed with delicious seeds cotton candy that hermied. Tried growing those....still hermie and got pollinated by this male Purple Haze x Thai I was growing. I may have missed a few accidental pollinations in there but anyway........well i tried growing that seed (which at this point who know what the fuck this strain is now) and this time got interesting results. In the past every seed i grew from whatever plants that seed came from hermied. Not this one tho. Came out with this strange little girl.

I actually got males and females this time. No hermies, this was the only female i got.. Really low yield but good smell and alot of trichomes on it. I call it "Venus High Trap". It is a fucking light hog tho. So maybe i'll try supplemental lighting on the clone i have going right now.
