Are my buds done? 12 weeks into budding pics

Ya so your using LED lights and cfls....? Whats your set up consist of and do you have any pics id love to see how its turning out for you since there are very few that use these lights. Also i like you encouraging news on waiting cause its definitely been a long wait to have to blow it (I want these crops dank as fuck and put me off my ass) smoke it. Theyre are really lookin full on the trichomes now...
I have to leave my garden next sunday for a lil while so i might just give nutes for another week and a long flush or i'll check the trichs mid week and possibly give a quick flush of 4 days or so....

Does anyone think thats enough time for a flush with a drip system with hydroton clay pebbles in smart pots.

Last time i flushed crops for a while and they still tasted bad because i think the runoff from the roots was just filling my reservoir of distilled water back with salts and nutes.. This time around im gonna use a catch reservoir and another res pumping fresh distilled water to these babies

Honestly.... those are ready dude... Cut them down before the trichomes actually start degrading... which will eliminate the entire purpose.

Grab a magnifier,10x plus, and look at the trichromes...light honey color on most of them cut em since you want that couch lock effect. I am planning on splitting my plants. Half for the more cerebral high, the other for the couch lock and go to sleep kind. I'll post my setup for you when i get home.

I concur.. your going on what.. 13ish weeks now?? Thats a hella long time and those plants look totally bomber. I wouldn't have been able to wait this long staring at those babies for 3 months

Nice pics.. Looks a lot like my nugs at that time (9-10 weeks?)..... How many cfls you got and what kind of LED (UFO light?)

But ya wait it out.... Cause i tried some dry and cured samples of these crops taken from week11 and they are bomb as fuck...

Bought a magnifier and it shows approx 10% maybe less trichomes turned amber and the rest are milky... So tonight i gave last nutes and then flushed each pot after straight with distilled water... Im gonnna try to do a fast flush on these babies cause i gotta be outta here next sunday with a quick flush and harvest:weed::D

Im gonna use a different reservoir to catch as opposed to recirculating the pots runoff. Kinda wasteful on water but i need this flush to be fast prob can only flush now for 6 days at most but im not worried should be fine ;)

I'll post some new pics and will be sure to put up pics again after i harvest

I've got 2 seperate systems working for now. I had to split the timers. In a 2x2 closet, ive got 4 40 watt cfls over the top, 2 23 watt cfls split left/right side with 2 30 watts so each side is getting 1 23 and 1 30 at medium level. 4 plants. Leds worked for me on the bottom so every side was getting light somewhat equally. My leds were made for me by a friend who buys old cop lights and makes them grow worthy. I know it makes me laugh too.

and dont do any more nutes, strictly H2O. At this point it wont do anything because you want to chop the plants soon. saves flushing time and the drier before harvest the less time it takes to dry..

your getting close you can still squeeze like 5-9 days out of her. i would go more like 9

They are looking great but they do look like they could use a little more time. They really should be further along at 13 weeks imo. It's really got me scratching my head. I would really consider using an HPS on your next grow. Even if it's only a 400w bulb I think you will get much better results and a quicker harvest. Looking good though. I would go another 3 days to a week but it's hard to tell without seeing the trichomes up close. Nice flowers!

I changed out my res and cleaned out my drip system. Just running straight distilled water now. I flushed each pot really well and discarded the runoff. This hopefully will keep my res nice and clean. I'll prob change it out with fresh distilled water in 3 days or so...

Heres some pics of the crops as of today... Gonna flush for only 6 days due to a time restraint but im proud of the results so far. Just never using cfl and leds for budding again cause of the length of flowering.. About 100 days flowering these when they're done.

Ive been checking the trichomes daily nomaninsf and theyre are about 10% maybe more now?? amber. But i noticed they have been popping up amber a lot more everyday so i should be good after this flush

Are you growing true master kush? If so, can you post some more pix of it please. I got it going right now and wanted to compare it to.

Also, did you trim your lower bud sites to promote lollipopping or did you leave all the budsites? What nutes were you using? I tried reading all the way through the thread, but im too stony.

The master kush crops are in the left on these pictures with lime gree leaves... I got a bunch of pics on this thread Kreyonic so look though em..

You can tell a big difference between the buds.. Master kush are thick bulky round nuggs that have a lime green... Most of the buds on the bubba kush are kinda foxtail like (not sure if thats genetics or possible light leek?)

And yes i trimmed leaves to get more light to bottom foilage as well as removed the nugs growing on the bottom branches to help further the process and not have a bunch of yoyo worthless buds like last harvest

These pics are of the bubba kush.... all kind of look foxtail like is this common for the bubba kush? Also its taken on digital macro to get a close up shot but turns out a lot more red cause of the 2700K cfls

Other than that shitty flowering time you're having to deal with they are still looking great. Thanks for being a LED guinea pig. I was always curious how LED would perform with somebody who knows how to grow. Now I know. Great quality still, but lower yields and increased flowering times. Good to know. Thanks again Rice!

Nomaninsf no prob... id rather not be the guinea pig tho haha and have buds weeks ago dried and cured already.. but ya the buds look and smell great.. The size of the nuggs are fairly large but still just the length factor is undeniable here. Thanks for all your responses guys..

Im thinking about pulling these babies down after 5 days of a flush... Does that sound okay??? I could give them one more day but really need to finish these up.... Has anybody flushed for 5 days only???

Would it really be noticeable to give them one more day..

Any oppinions on this 5 day flush

I have changed the 3 times this week and have severly flushed the pots out with water and left that waste in another resevoir so it didnt re feed the crops...
