I just got myself a 30x jewelers loupe the other day so I can check out the trichs color when the time comes :)

YUP THE 30X WORKS PRETTY GOOD I HAVE ONE TOO LOOKING TO GET at least a 60x would be best it think yup buds have a cuple more weeks remember they double in size the last few weeks so just sit back and watch them get bigger

The 30x is just enough to get a close look but in order to REALLY see them a 60x is going to do the trick. I caught myself staring at my bag-o-buds last night for about an hour threw it lol.

ok so i'm getting ready to chop... can someone answer part 2 of my ???...

WHAT DO I DO BEFORE CHOPPING? give it like a gallon of water and put it in the dark for 2 days???? lmk if this is the right info i was given, thx.

ps. my leaves all turned light-green and most fell off and i have 2x as many brown trichs. just throwin that out there

you water the last 2 weeks you just don't use any Fertilizers and the no lights the last 2 days is a growing technique to make the plant think that winter is here and produce all of its THC glands.
